Who knows correct artifact drop chance? Im thinking a bit about training. As i remember i get 3 minimal from full fest. Sometimes 5, sometimes 8.

Its a bit more than 8k mobs. Should be near 2k drop rolls. With 0,1% chance its only 2. I have few training levels, so its near 2,8 average. But its definitely more.

I have a doubt.
What is the correct formula to calculate block chance?

In the wiki I found:

Block = 1 - (1 - equipment_bonus) * (1 - proficiency_bonus)

I don't think it is correct because shield block chance and shielding plate block chance are not simply added.
I think it's probably something like:

Block = 1 - (1 - shield_bonus) * (1 - armor_bonus) * (1 - proficiency_bonus)

Pretty sure equipment_bonus includes both shield slot and shielding armor, so total block chance would effectively be calculated just like you said.

equipment_bonus as i remember is multiplicative. So, not only armor bonus, but also each item.

equipment_bonus is multiplicative. you do not simply add the block chance from shield and armor together.

I haven't been having luck forging jug 5, then best I've gotten to lately is jug 2.

Well yeah, but there's little reason to have more than one, right? Except maybe if player is low level...

Jug doesnt looks very good after update.

Mage has high income damage. So here higher hp pull doesnt works nice, because there is no regeneration overflowing. In other words its only harder to heal...or mostly harder. Its still slightly better, but nothing vital.

Melee. Main idea to have high pull is bigger safe duration before most of mobs die and also reduce spirit damage. But now we have almost endless mp/sp regeneration.

Im using full power of protection long time. Its 10% less adb than full slaughter, but much-much better defense. Im not sure can i get same with something like body replacement, but i d definitely lose same adb amount.

But has there ever been a successful transaction for the gold star? I see multiple WTB gold stars in the WTB section, but I haven't seen a successful sale. Is there anyone who's paying it?

I made it a principle to not spend IRL resources here so... I think this would be the best approach, unless something changes with the next patch.

I'm trying what holy_demon recommended and using Full-cure primarily, and Cure only in emergencies. Given limitless spirit (having Spark proc isn't very troublesome), I'm pretty sure it reduces clear time. More Jug will directly benefit those using this strategy, melee or mage.

If I were you, I'd get to level 300-320ish as soon as possible. This will let you clear non-SG arenas @ PF in a relatively low amount of time (more credits, faster credits, better drops, more tokens for FSM -> more noodles to sell). That'll probably give you a lot more income, at which point you can decide between spending on better gear (worthwhile enough to soulfuse; lower clear speed, more income), or if you already feel like your equipment is good enough, a star.

Your income will be increased significantly more by having higher level + decent equipment forged to 5 or 10, than by having a star... assuming you play regularly. They take quite a while to pay off, not to mention the upfront cost is huge if you don't have much currently. (If you'd rather just collect Dawn and forget about it then star would be better, of course)

People do buy and sell stars. It's probably almost always done through PM rather than posting on the public forum, and when the transaction is finished, the buyer will just change the thread to [close] so you probably wouldn't even see what had been done before.

Yep, also some cases when overflow exist or threshold stop. I mean lets say we get some damage in 2 turns in row. So we have low hp, cure, again low hp and cure again (full, health pot or something) and only after that damage. Its 3 turns and only 1 attack. With higher pull we can damage more often.

But difference still quite low. My 10k mage is almost same as 20k hp mage in fest progress. And its huge difference in hp.
Also mage with leveling looks only slower. I even double checked that. Increase in mdb+edb is much slower than mmi, resist and hp amount.

For example lets say player has all Lmax with 50-100 forge. With 2.0 prof for 350lvl its ~ 13,2k magic score. Actually magic score is quite good for comparison. And 500 lvl has 22k. It should be ok for prof build, because 5 phase with same set is 28,5k and its edb staff. But 350lvl mob (lets say celestial with 1300pl) has without any chaos upgrade 22,2k health with 57,5% mmi and 500lvl has 31,9k with 66%. Its 22200/(1-0,575)= 52k and 93,8k equivalent. 1.66 difference in magic score and 1.8 difference in mmi+hp. And its even without resist increase calculation, chaos upgrades and so on.

its about browser to use to play HV, currently I use chrome portable 41. this kinda trash. after battle round 50-60 browser start lagging. greatly slow my play. I need to close browser everytime after that round to clear the lag.

and this i need recomendation for HV.
