HTTP in england have better ping than erwst (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)

Penetrator is nice cos you can stack the counter-resist.

Archmage not that useful for non-destruction staff and you can't get Economizer.

perhaps go with Spellweaver as the 2nd potency.

Penetrator + Annihilator.
Focus Staff increases Crit Chance, so why not take advantage of it?

Following your advice last time I got myself new weapons and shield but now I don't really know how to judge a weapon.

Is this worth soulfusing or should I just use this and all the rest of my unassigned rapiers as disposable equipment changing at every 20 lvls (I have like 4 unassigned exquisite rapier with very similar stats to the one below).

None of the above are worse soulfusing. At the very least, get an exquisite (preferably mag or higher with good rolls on ADB) rapier of slaughter with 3 PABs.

I was afraid of that, disposable equipment it is.
But exquisite don't have 3 pabs anymore afaik.
(except for just today I saw whole bunch of old etheral rapier of slaughter in the bazaar that got bought up in like 5 seconds.)

But they can still have 3 PAB, it is been just very unlikely, not impossible.

Not sure if the wiki is reliable but it seems 10B has made some changes to the drop section

From the PAB roll section:
Quality and Tier Certain PABs cannot be rolled depending on the slot (e.g. STR on Staffs)
Phase has ~3.5% chance of having 0
Staffs have 5% or 6.25% chance of having 0, depending on the type
Maximum of 2 at Superior/Exquisite quality
At Legendary/Peerless quality will always have 3 (4 for Light armor)
Suffixes may add additional PABs (e.g. Arcanist)

Furthermore he also made the change to no peerless or leg drops from nightmare or below with the exception that leg can drop from arena bonus with very very low chance.

BTW if you read the part where maximum_joe was quoting 10B in the 0.82 thread about no leg or peerless drop changes it was all from the wiki page. Also someone got peerless on normal but we don't know if it was arena bonus or because it was from ring of blood may not have same drop restriction as arena or he got it before some of the newer changes went through.

That Hallowed Rapier is good enough for Soulfuse.
About stats, you'll need to look for PMI/MMI and Block. The more the better.
For PAB, DEX and END are the most important ones.
For Weapon, you should aim for 40+ base ADB in the mainhand weapon, and a decent amount of Parry (16+ base parry).
For Shield, 33% base Block is good for unforged force shields.

Its good to know both my weapon and shield is just below borderline. Didn't know that DEX and END were the more important of the PABs.

I will consider whether to soulfuse (because yeah 2 pab on mag is kinda a letdown then again I wish I could get these lvl of drop or shrining). I've got one lvl before my first try to get a noodle. Although I shrine my VPS coupon (noolde tier I think) and it was pretty bad.

Imo for rapier of slaughter, STR is the most important especially now that slaughter weapons have been nerfed(semi-confirmed).

I would advise against binding that hallowed the reason is
first, the prefix is nothing special (hallowed does not outclass other elemental prefixes by much since patch) 0.82.
second, it lacks one of the most important pabs.
third, it's inherent worth as a weapon isn't much, for example this much better rapier http://hentaiverse.org/pages/showequip.php...;key=4a4a2718cd is being sold for 300k

I dont think slaughter was rly nerfed. I got axe with M+ edb or even few in new patch.

The exquisite ethereal rapier of slaughter I saw on the bazaar I think was like 13k or something and it pretty much nearly had higher stats in every way to the mag you quoted except for base WD which was slightly lower.

OMG I shouldn't have think and just spam buy like the other guy.

Anyway still holding off on soulfuse until my noodle gives me like exquisite axe which is most likely going to be the case.
