Are the XP multipliers for awards (including stars) multiplicative or additive with [each other], and with [perks/Adept Learner]? I had thought everything was multiplicative before, but then it was revealed that perks/Adept Learner are only additive, so I don't know what to think now.

All multiplicative, only hath additive.

How big you guys think price for that? Probably not very high, because edb is anyway close to even old Lmax and all other stats is quite low. Mostly a bit higher than Mmax.

Just over 3.4m

Really? My impression is that they are all additive, that even the hath perks had always been addtivie, and it was merely recently explained that it is additive.
Edit: ok, I was wrong.

Shrining for staff is a bad idea, considering how prices drop sharply with non-matching prefix and suffix. There's just way too many "useless" leg staff. Shrining for phase would be better. Any leg phase or leg prof cotton would grant you decent money. Only cotton protection and cotton warding are "useless"

Our maging equipment doesn't differ much, but mana is a huge problem for me even before patch. Maybe I only need to rise 50 more levels to comfortably wizarding once again.

Can you please post your gear links? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

QUOTE(mozilla browser @ Jun 3 2015, 11:19) *

This gives ~ 44% mana conservation? Wow.

Nope. MC is Multiplicative. So it's 40.3% MC.
Theoretically, ~45% should be the maximum (without Ather Shard). But for that, you'll need Peerless Staff + Full Peerless Armor Set. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

QUOTE(mozilla browser @ Jun 3 2015, 11:19) *

How did you arrive at this point in your experimentation? When using only non-legacy restoratives, was the problem that you couldn't replesh mana fast enough, or was it that you could replenish mana, but the cost of potions was prohibitive?

Okay, get yourself some popcorn & cola. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)

1. At the start, I tested out the legacy restoratives, and it soon became clear that they were not good in the new situation, neither they were gonna stay for a long time. So, I omitted them from my game strategy.

2. Then, I tested a regular unforged Destruction Staff + Full Radiant Phase build. But it wasn't that good either. In this setup, doing all the Arena (Including the SG ones) in PFUDOR cost me ~30k worth of restoratives (Only Mana Potion) per day (I mean, I had to buy that much even after the using all the self dropped restoratives). In this phase of testing, I didn't use any Theft/Tap.

3. Next, I tested Tap, and even though it was very good at mana saving, it increased my clear time horrendously! Also, It broke the rhythm of my gameplay, and I had to pay much more attention while playing, limiting my multitasking (Watching Anime/Movies while playing).

4. After that, it was Mana Theft time. It was very inefficient in regular battles, prolonging the battles even more than Tapping! But in the SG Arenas, it was heaven-sent! Even as a Elemental Mage, I only required a very few Mana potions, until the SGs started to appear. Once the SGs started to pop up, I didn't require a single Mana Potions.

5. Next, I tried Prof Build. It was good. ~180% prof factor seemed to be the best build setup without sacrificing too much firepower. Without using any Theft/Tap, my potions usage dropped quite a bit, but it was still ~10k per day (I still had to buy them).

6. Lastly, a friend of mine lent me his full forged set (Destruction Staff + Full Phase (not radiant/mystic/frugal)) before he soulfused them. And Holy Hell, all of a sudden I was saving mana, without any Theft/Tap! So looks like like heavy forging is the most optimal solution.

7. Finally, after I returned those gears, I went for a full frugal set (The one I posted). And even though it's not as mana saving as the fully forged set, it does let me save restoratives. That is the build I'm currently using. I plan on assembling a good new-patch set, and then concentrate on forging them heavily.

All these were tested in PFUDOR.

*phew*

Proficiency and frugal build would obviously reduce MP consumption, so a mana draught might be almost sufficient. But, a fully-forged DPS set does not reduce MP consumption at all. In fact, because you clear each round in less turns, and you spend your turns casting T3/T2/T1 spells, your mana consumption should be even higher than the proficiency or frugal builds. Mana restoration from replenishment and gems should probably be unaffected. So, how could you suddenly be saving mana?

Might be a few, I don't think it's that much less than the other elements. I can only think of GC for some reason, but I don't even know if he is.

I'm also one, although I only recently seriously started maging. I still mostly use melee for arena and PFUDORfests. Funnily enough I got a few amazing surtr phase drops right after I switched, must be blessed by Snowflake. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Oops. I forgot to mention that the WIS of that set was very high, thus resulting in a much higher MP regen. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)
(Even at the unforged state, they were ~Lmax)
