What happened? TLDR?

afaik, at a certain point jacob (fakku's admin) was a bit hungry for money, so he bought rights for many publications, leaving the scene without many supplies. or something similar (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

Could I get some advise?

So, I am pretty much clueless about mage stuff, and by clueless i mean:

In pre-patch standards it has really nice rolls but I have no idea if it is actually relevant now and if anyone is actually using focus staffs.

Is is useful in any way, shape or form?
I do not plan to use it, either sell or salvage.

And just to keep this related, on a scale of 1 to 10, how stupid am I for going dw/arcanist and prioritizing attack speed?

For DW, Shade is good. But Arcanist is so so. Negation is better.
Attack speed is "necessary" for DW to play safely in PFUDOR.

assuming 10/10 is going staff + naked, 3-4/10
you can make life a bit easier and throw on 1-2 pieces of fleet/shadowdancer since arcanist has a tendency to roll with shit evade. make it even easier by getting at least SS 6 from both your weapons so you can go full savage instead of full agile

Am working on the SS, even though it only goes up to five, and I keep having to reset because I keep getting overpower.

I've also got this weird dream of one day being able to hit frenzied blows three times per backstab. I also have an aversion to inconsistent bonuses.

also I've done staff + naked before. seems to work about as well as dw+shade.

Wanimagazine sold its international english license to Fakku, then demanded EH to add all wanimag products to our Do-Not-Post blacklist. Since Wani is a big hentai publisher, many scan and translation were to be deleted. At the beginning only EH was affected, but later on Wani attacked the dark site. Some people suspected that fakku tipped off wani about its existence.

older shade types came with WIS, so i guess it's safe to assume that it does exist a generation of arcanist (that back then still had negation-like resist) with either WIS and high resist. just FYI.

Jacob stated several times that he just didn't want the Fakku versions of works on here. He didn't care about things like Wani raws and scanlations, which was probably a PR lie, but who knows.

The one and only scenario that absolves jacob of responsibility is one where wani had already known about sadpanda and specifically sought out some western distributor to sell copyrights to so they could enforce their copyrights on sadpanda.

I'm going for level 5 on both just because I hate myself. also, what? No butcher? Are the numbers that low compared to fatality?
