QUOTE(Superlatanium @ May 21 2015, 01:04) 5 eco is not too hard to get. I don't recall exactly, but it's maybe 30-40 shards on average.
5 eco + some amount of Pen is very very difficult - 130 shards or more. 5 eco + 3 or 4 Pen requires 172+ shards on average.
Unless it's a nearly perfect staff, best to just go for 5 eco.
From how much ninja nerfs happened along with this latest patch, I wonder if Tenboro actually made it more difficult to obtain 5+4 potancy. 1 odd potency pops up every time when things are going smooth. Yesterday I got Eco Lv.4 + Pen Lv.4 in a Staff using just 7 shards, then 1 Archmage popped up as the last potency. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

As i thought new pot system looks stronger for melee. Easy did 400+ pffest rounds. For elemental mages it looks ok, but only if clear time is fast. The more turns per round the lower chance to restock pots.

I've been hearing many people saying that they don't want to level up. This makes sense for players under level 300 or so, since they have little equipment and can level up quite fast if they play a lot. But higher level players have multiple sets and level up slowly.
I'm using a semi-disposable 1h/power set worth around 4m + forge that'll probably keep working fine until level 450 or so. Probably. The faster I level up now, the better my good equipment will be, and the longer it will last, once I finally decide to equip and level-bind it. So unless someone has already equipped their primary pricey set, I'm not seeing much of a downside to the now-possible quick leveling.
(or one could just soulbind of course, but that's pricey, and it feels like I'm giving in to the boss's scheme of yet another huge credit sink)
It is a bit depressing not being able to use my nice and shiny expensive gear, but that's how it is.

QUOTE(Pillowgirl @ May 20 2015, 16:38) I don't think i can post a list with links to all equipment in my inventory as it seems the minishop helper script broke with v0.82... holy_demon has updated his HV Item Manager for v0.82. You are looking for the List function: ...or wait for Mini Shop Helper to get updated, it's up to you.

Im training adept again after long time. My 1h set wont change much even with scaling and only adb (tbh rapier has almost half of adb increase) is something significant. But im sure i ll find something for replace or if not than use even superior and it still ll be upgrade for me. And i dont see much sense to use 1h for most of 400+ lvl players. Its nice range for starting mage. This post has been edited by nec1986: May 20 2015, 22:58

I agree 1h heavy seems so easy now, it seems like more of a war of attrition with how expensive potions are now compared to before, also I totally want a packrat refund (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif) half my slots aren't even being used. Is anyone selling draughts/ potions the shop price is so expensive compared to what potions used to cost.

QUOTE(Scremaz @ May 20 2015, 12:36) then i guess i have to thank you if now i own at least a tenish of those (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) lol. so basically once you are on the train you will have all comforts, but you can't enter the train (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Yup, that would be a catch-22. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) But the way it works now is fair. When playing for fragments 3-6, I'd say the drop chance is still higher than 50%. I don't know if difficulty is a factor though, because I've only been playing PFUDOR. Only tenboro knows for sure. Or skillchip, who will surely collect 10,000 data points spanning all difficulties to figure it out. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Been playing almost exclusively on Normal ever since the patch, have 17 soul fragments now at 5-8 RE per day.

What do you guys think about replacing it with perk that gives one % to not lose the pot after using it (X%*training lvl). Either that or make ppl want more consumable types.

Because it looks like first RE of the day is a guaranteed fragment.

You will bind your set sooner or later (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Btw , how much shards and runs you spend for IW sinchan leg demonic willow , super (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

QUOTE(nobody_xxx @ May 21 2015, 00:30) Btw , how much shards and runs you spend for IW sinchan leg demonic willow , super I tried for 5/3 or 5/4 on staff. I got 4/5 once, and had to reset on 3/0/1 or 4/0/1 quite a few times. I'm not sure how many runs, but it was around 180 shards, which was very close to the simulated average predicted. If I had only been willing to achieve a perfect 5/4, estimated shards would have been significantly higher, probably around 260 or so, rather than 172.5. (I did actually get 5/4, but that was just luck, not persistence) This post has been edited by Superlatanium: May 21 2015, 02:50
