It's really rare. I think it happened to me only once. The chance is a lot lower than seeing Boss class monsters like Dalek in RE.

I think yes a bit. Its quite good item for defense. But hard to say, because new power of protection is very strong. Many players using 4 slaughter + 1 shielding item.

QUOTE(Superlatanium @ May 19 2015, 12:19) Just to confirm: since Golden Lottery Tickets don't increase your ticket count past 10% of total pool, this means they're basically useless for anything other than prizes you'd only half-heartedly like to have, right? Because if you're serious about trying to win something, you'll probably buy a lot more than 10% of the pool.
I'm feeling for kamio11, who's probably spent 20 or 30 million on GP in the past week but who's only gotten a few seemingly mostly useless gold tickets in return.
Yes, they're pretty useless. I have twelve of them now, and I use them fairly freely, but if I'm trying to win, I aim to hold >=40% of the tickets. I haven't spent any credits on GP this past week, though. I'm not going to try and buy the lottery again until Tenboro stops tweaking things and equipment ranges in the new patch are better understood. don't remember to face one before in RE Eh? I've never ever seen that. Interesting. I have so far only seen SGs in their expected place in Arenas, nowhere else.

It's rare, but bosses (Mithra, etc) and schoolgirls can appear in Random Encounters. It's also annoying because it means that those Random Encounters take seconds longer than usual. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Hello, i took a break until 8.2 came out. Can anyone tell me what I should do now? What are the overarching meta changes, I've prepared somewhat ( I have a good 2h sword and some decent leather armor)
Is 1h + shield and heavy armor still the best, what are some emerging playstyles, is power of slaughter good anymore or should i get shielding stuff, what is the meta looking like?
Should I even equip anything or just sell everything I can. I'm assuming there is gonna be a huge influx of good items in the near future and all the previously good gear for < level 400 players will soon be outclassed.

1H power seems still the best for mid-level. However, the market is death. You need to collect your own equipment from monsters. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

But good to know now i can equip my 1h power set without fearing much, also hot damn these potions are expensive and no one is selling. Draughts any good?

Keep Draughts' effect always on, at least for the mp version. Use pots when needed.

maybe i'm miss understanding this, but it seems like soulfuse have more cons than pros? they only pro is it'll lvl up with you, but you can not sell it ever, right? also, it seems like a lot of higher lvl equipment (ie 430+lvl equpment) already hv better stats than my 75x MDB forged staff. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/anime_cry.gif) Those equipment scale to its level (430). When you soulfuse them, they will scale down to your level. The real number won't be as high.

(IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/anime_cry.gif) One would soulfuse something they intend to use forever because they don't see themselves ever getting something better without extraordinary Peerless luck. Sure, you wouldn't be able to sell it, but soulfuse is done to something you intend to continue to use permanently, so that's OK. "the only pro is it'll lvl up with you" - that's quite a huge pro, given that something fully forged could now be seen as losing hundreds of thousands worth of credits every level-up if it's not soulbound.

(IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/anime_cry.gif) I do think the use of soul fuse is changed after the level requirement is lower down by 50. Currently, I think its use become buying equipment from higher level players. e.g. Holy_demon from dani, Sad panda from holy.

I no longer intend on using my gear forever now that new legendaries have better rolls than old ones. But the reality is, I am most likely not going to find any upgrades -- in the past three years, I have only found one Freyr legendary, for example. So I have to soulfuse my obsolete gear out of necessity. It's a tough pill to swallow.
EDIT: Mm.. Maybe not so bad. Maybe I can soulfuse everything over the course of the next month and a bit using Soul Fragments from Random Encounters. I already have 16...

As long as it stays at 50 apiece, it might not be so bad. It's pretty easy to get all 6 fragments per day at least. Unless you are powerleveling, you can probably stand to let your gear fall behind by a few levels while collecting them. I'd rather save my credits for the last damage perk than buying back the ability to have my gear level with me...

Hello, I've been playing the game for a while and am always wondering how to tell whether a piece of equipment is good. If you show me a piece of equip right away, I just have no idea how good it is. Even if you show me two pieces, with comparison I still can't tell which one is better sometimes because it's possible that stat X of piece A is higher than of piece B while stat Y of piece A is lower than of piece B.
Is there any criterion for measuring how good a piece of equip is?
Like, a specific stat reaching a certain point, the piece of equip is categorized as S-rank or A-rank or something.
