I'm not sure about the case where you click the random encounter and it fizzles (already in battle, or this random encounter has expired, or ...). But I would hazard a guess that it does not count towards the 24 limit.

Well now, I was pretty sure that not clicking on the random encounter would not count towards the 24/day limit. But now I think that either this has been changed, or I was simply wrong. I think it does count after all.

Mostly defense forge with 1h set (phys protection and block). Spend probably 4-5m for it, but before that i couldnt clear at all. Dont remember exact, but seems i could do only 650 rounds with all 15 pots. Its near 1/2 way or a bit lower, because mobs is much stronger at the end.

It looks not very impressive. I mean lets say 52% and 55% block. Its only 3%, but somehow it gives quite visibly result. Probably because its 2way type. We have income (gems, regeneration) and outcome with cures. Without cures we can even increase our mp/sp.

Huh? If you don't clear GF at difficulties between Nintendo-PFUDOR, then surely the margin at Hell would be worse. And there's no point for lesser mages to even attempt GF.

Even x20 is possible given Weaken/Ether Tap and Spirit Theft, though x15 is probably more profitable per time. I guess if you spend tens of millions on forging and perks, eventually you kill so quickly that the mana required isn't too much, especially if you kill fast enough to keep Ether Tap up. I guess.

Just plain survival is more of a problem than mana, in my experience.

i can get to round 800 on ninfest with ether tap. My maths say that using scroll/infusion to clear it wouldn't make it more profitable, that's what i meant by "low margin". There's probably a strategy that's efficient enough, but I'm lazy to figure it out.

Hellfest used to have the best profit for me, but once I can clear it reliably, ninfest becomes the better option. I'd expect BTfest to become good once I can clear ninfest. :/

I can last sustain through the first 650 rd @hell, 500 rd@nin, 250 rd@pfudor without using pots. Extensive ether tap then spirit stance@250 OC is pretty powerful. After that, I start to spark/heal repeatedly

Hello guys.
I just came back to HV a few days ago and already got some advices of changing fighting style from 2H to 1H.
Many posts show that 1H melee is the most easy and efficiency way to play.

But i wonder will 1h get nerf soon?
Should i just stay on 2H (Already nerf but i have been using 2H since level 1)?
Or....to be honest even 1H get nerf there will be a great chance that 1h will still be much more powerful than 2H.

2h has been bad for a while. If you're going to play for any length of time, better to switch to 1h if you want to survive high difficulty. We don't even know if 1h will be nerfed.

it's a great shield imo. don't even care about STR, at high levels it only adds a little bunch of ADB

if you plan to keep the leg one, auction the old piece. just FYI, even if with better results forging a leg shield is way more expensive than forging a mag one. if you're satisfied enough with the mag you actually own, you may even think about selling the leg one for better incoming (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif)
