QUOTE(tututz @ Apr 26 2015, 06:50) I just buy a few tickets every day (10 or 20) on each. Sometimes RNG will favor you, even with blood tokens.
Ever won a lotto this way?

you can get 2nd-5th prize with 10 tickets if you are lucky enough (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) ( like chosen uno in the past ) (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) This post has been edited by nobody_xxx: Apr 26 2015, 07:13

QUOTE(Superlatanium @ Apr 26 2015, 10:14) As someone said before recently in this thread, the lotteries are more of a way for the rich to show off than anything else. If you look at the past lotteries you'll see that the equipment is never used 98% of the time (and is even sometimes just salvaged).
The value of the prizes is much lower than the value of the GP spent.
I got http://hentaiverse.org/?s=Bazaar&ss=lt&lottery=418 for 500 tickets, and I'm using it (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) Anyway, if the equipment is not used, isn't it good for the lotteries to exist as a credit sink? Otherwise those credits would inflate the price of not-great-just-good equipment at auctions.

Peerless Helmet for 10 or 20 tickets, can't remember. i don't use it, but at least i own a peerless (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cool2.gif) QUOTE(mozilla browser @ Apr 26 2015, 09:59) yes, you use it. it means an useful item went to a person who needed it, and for a reasonable price afterall. but if you take a look to all the major winners, you will find that everyone of them should own a couple of sets of everything by now, only by lotteries (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

because their crappiness is somehow mitigated by multiplicative addition: it's for that reason that one outstanding piece of armor among crappy set (or vice versa) don't do a very big damage, it's more important to close the set to go for abilities at that point QUOTE(tetron @ Apr 26 2015, 13:55) On a Staff? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif) slightly correction: it's eco4 (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/duck.gif) and what's the big point in keeping lv9? no, obviously they don't need them. do you need(ed) so many battlecasters? do i need so many oldies? it's just another type of collection afterall, with the only difference that if i take a flimsy club of balance out of the market nobody will even realize it, while a legendary ethereal mace of slaughter (just saying) may have been actually used by someone (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

So for those out there who do daily arena clears for credits, what difficulty do you stick to? I tried DwD on Hell and it was pretty tedious, or is it a simple matter or my equipment not being good and that PFUDOR can be quick too?

it depends. which playstyle? eventually, OFC user or not? mind to post your gears? This post has been edited by Scremaz: Apr 26 2015, 14:52

Low diff --> fast solid amount. Still get many arti, tokens, gears and so on. High diff --> not so fast, but higher credits amount and better gear loot. F.e., got 3 magnificent today. Its mostly bad drop, but sometimes its something useful (at least 0,1-1m credits).
So if you dont play much than low diff is ok, because its the best credits/time ratio. I play arenas always on pf, because need exp and dont wanna spend much stamina for average income. UPD. Probably its time to train adept learner (only have 150/300).

Yep. It's just a matter of optimization. But still, "depression" is a inbuilt part of HV. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/duck.gif) QUOTE(Scremaz @ Apr 26 2015, 17:46) what's the big point in keeping lv9? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) May be because Tanboro said that he has (or had) plans for a Lv.10 potency for Mages? I do: The last three Arenas: in Normal Difficulty for Tokens (Those Arenas are guaranteed to give you a token upon clearing) and trophies. All the other Arenas: in PFUDOR/IWBTH. Usally PFUDOR for the best quality modifier (and EXP of course). IWBTH when I don't have much time to spend in HV. I play as Elec Mage. QUOTE(empj83 @ Apr 26 2015, 18:39) The 1H build I was using to do DwD on Hell was RapierShieldHelmetBodyHandsLegsFeetEwww! You are using one of the "Safest but Slowest" build in HV! You need to switch to at least Full-Shade for some firepower. Also, you need to use either Buckler or Force Shield. Kite Shield is just not good enough. And last but not the least, your weapon needs to be IWed to Lv.10 for a significant boost in clearing speed.
