QUOTE(Superlatanium @ Apr 22 2015, 01:51) Buffing drop trainings overall will only further the gap between the super rich high-level players who seem to get all the good drops, and everyone else. I'd support more normalizing the benefits per credit spent (so that 100k Archaeologist isn't magnitudes better than 100k Scavenger, for instance), but I don't think making drops even more top-heavy is something I want to see for HV.
Also, I'm pretty sure the higher drop-related trainings are meant to be a credit sink, rather than to be profitable choices.
At your level, you'll almost certainly be better off getting better gear than training. The average of sum drop value per hour played, once drop trainings start costing 50k or so, increases significantly more per credits spent on better gear than on training, probably until each slot is worth 1m+ (including IW and forge).
at least tenB is good for cut the price for LoTD and Scav ,superlatanium (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) now only need 5M for LoTD 25 while in the past you will need nearly 10M (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)

I'm probably ridiculously worried about wear so I hate seeing it below 90%. It also allows me to spend some of my scrap items that are worth nothing.

I repair after I finish playing for the day, so usually after completing all of the arenas.

I love supportive spells and am grudgingly grinding deprecating as to use silence.
Can I continue playing without elemental and divine/forbidden magic forever or will I be at disadvantage in the future?
(Thanks for the repair advice.)

If you have no intention of playing mage in the future, then you don't need to bother with Elemental, Divine, or Forbidden proficiency. If you do decide to switch, even if part-time, then you can worry about that then; it's not going to be a huge issue or anything.

To minimize catalyst cost, it's best to repair in 76-78 and 51-55 (inclusive

What I am wearing gets better and better without me doing anything, little by little. But then I see these improvements are happening in stuff I see in auctions. I mean, the item got a little better but it is in mogglemail... which doesn't make any sense. I wonder if these little improvements are happening to the character aka me getting more proficiency, etc. And not the gear ? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

QUOTE(crazy3d @ Apr 22 2015, 03:30) So it's my level? Yep. If you look at the base values of any given equipment, it will stay constant regardless of your level. But if you just look at the plain visible values, you'll see them gradually go up over time as you gain levels, some at a greater rate than others.

I hate Overpower! \(ಠ益ಠ)/ I've been trying to IW my Rapier, but Overpower keeps getting in the way! .... Too many Amnesia Shards wasted. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif) Anyway, I recall seeing on this thread some time ago, that it's recommended to seek in the first go Fatality 1 + Butcher 1. So Experts, Is it really better to use my amnesia shards right away if I didn't get Fatality 1 + Butcher 1 in the first go, even if I get Fatality 2 (or Butcher 2)? Thanks

Thanks Depends how perfect you want it. If you are trying to get 5/4, then having 1/1 will get you a much larger chance of getting it. However if you are just looking for an even split, starting with 2 or 1/1 is fine. Each of the potencies all provide very similar bonuses so don't stress too much.

Better to continue with the good potency. Breaking on anything other than getting both good potencies at once at the start around doubles the average shards used, based on my simulations, if you're aiming for 5/4 or 5/3. - If getting 1/1 on the first two level:
You will have 75% chance to get existing potency. So, the chance of getting 5/4 is 0.75^7 = 13.3%. Or 6.7% if you want to choose which one getting 5. - If getting 2 on the first two level.
The best chance to get 5/4 is to get the second preferred potency at level 3. So, the chance of getting 5/4 = 0.5 * (1/(number of potency -1)) * 0.75^6 = 3.0%. Or 1.5% if you want to choose which one getting 5. (for melee weapon) Later the second potency appear, more 0.5 will replace 0.75, thus lower the chance. ***number of potency = 4 for melee weapon
p.s.: lazy to check the number. The formula should be correct. Btw, you also need to consider the chance of getting 1/1 or 2 on the first two level for the overall chance. This post has been edited by Colman: Apr 22 2015, 08:59
