QUOTE(tetron @ Apr 19 2015, 14:52) You're missing the point. Generating credits require time if you're not a H@H runner. Most people can't generate "1m in 3 days" if they are not H@H runner, or doesn't have a mini army of monsters. I'm counting Crystarium Perks out of equations, since they require Credits to begin with! Grinding for raw credits will not yield 1m in 3 days.
I am talking about credits alone. If you cannot obtain ~300k a day by grinding, there is no point to get expensive gears at all.

That's the point. Most of the players either don't know how to or are unable to effectively obtain ~300k worth of credits per day. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

My earning potential is only 120k per day.
I can have 50k pure credit per day if I play all the arena at manageable difficulty according to my equipment set. I can sell trophies since some players with FoS is generous at buying them, it will net me, say, 20k. Valuable items like amnesia and energy drink can be sold. It will be about 50k if I happen to get 3 or 4 precursor artifacts. Equipments will be worth about 20k at bazaar since good ones is as good as never drop. Substract some credit to pay for catalyst, infusions, and GP for fruitless gambling. And voila, about 120k!
Did this whole arena business 2 days per week, 3 arena per day on the other day. It gives 300k or so per week. More if some minion bring me a phazon or valuable binding.
But I usually skip playing altogether and rather hangout on hentaiverse chat forum... hehehe.

I also do the same most of the times. I grind only when having a clear target or watching animation. BTW, mage grind faster than melee. Higher level grind faster than low level. The people in auction can bid so high because their income is very high. Stars do not give much profit compare to grinding. On the other hand, H@H do give a lot of income. It also make the income from uploading almost non-existent. This post has been edited by Colman: Apr 19 2015, 10:26

QUOTE(tetron @ Apr 19 2015, 17:52) Now this topic is taking the "Forged Mage Vs. Unforged Mage" route. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Forging is a different story altogether. I'm more interested in the absolute peak of limits for unforged Mage. If you're in the forging business, no amount of Credit is ever enough. Unforged Mages are also good. And even though Forging is better, it's not for everyone. Unforged mage needs far more credits to reach the same clearing power as forged mage. You're basically getting the same power as a peerless piece for 1/10th the price There's little point to forging past the 20th time. At that point, you're spending credits on vanity, not utility

I did it when I was first playing but it was more like 1m in 4 days, clearing school girls and all other arenas, selling the trophies, equips and artifacts.

I'm trying to make sense of http://ehwiki.org/wiki/Loot_Drop_RollsUltimately, the question I'm trying to answer is - what is the best training path? I've read a suggestion to upgrade Scavenger, LotD, Quartermaster and Archaeologist such that their cost to upgrade is kept approximately the same. But I don't understand the basis for this suggestion. To answer that question, I need to understand the effects of each training. But according to the wiki, maxed scavenger only increases drop chance from 10% to 1.25x (12.5%?). This doesn't sound very impressive for 17m credit of training. If the intent is to maximise the number of equipment drops, it seems that quartermaster is better than scavenger. Maxed quartermaster doubles the equipment drop rate. If we compare at the equivalent 1.25 multiplier, this happens when scavenger is maxed (17.5m credits spent) and quartermaster is at level 5 (123k credits spent). this makes no sense.

I have my own chart for forging. I consider this: Lv.5 and below = Basic Forged From Lv.6 to Lv.10 = Lightly Forged From Lv.11 to Lv.20 = Medium Forged From Lv.21 to Lv.30 = Heavily Forged From Lv.31 to Lv.40 = Shit Forged From Lv.41 to Lv.50 = Unnecessarily Forged QUOTE(EsotericSatire @ Apr 19 2015, 14:02) No they are not.

1. What is your primary fighting style? 2. At which Difficulty do you play the most? 3. How many monsters do you have? As for my statistics: My primary fighting style: Elec Mage (With Imperil) (Almost unforged) My difficulty: PFUDOR most of the time. Sometimes IWBTH. And Normal for SG Arenas. I Currently have 30 Monsters (1 Mechanoid (PL ~700), 27 Celestials (PL ~200 each), 2 Dragonoids (PL ~200 each)), from where I get at least 1x Binding of Slaughter or 1 Phazon per 2 day. And nowadays I play the Arenas only, which generates ~200k raw credits and ~30k of junk equipments per day. I don't sell Crystal, Infusion, Artifacts and Shards, so they are also out of my equations. Sometimes I sell ED when I have a overflow of supply, so it's not consistant either. This post has been edited by tetron: Apr 19 2015, 11:11

Quartermaster is more cost effective than Scavenger. Scavenger should be enough at Lv.30 or so. Quartermaster should be maxed, just like Archeologist. Max LotD is for either "Already Rich" players or hardcore players whc can play over 3k rounds per day. Otherwise its a loss. The best way to get the best equipments is to play at PFUDOR only. LotD only helps a bit, it's not a P2W stat. QUOTE(Dead-ed @ Apr 19 2015, 14:12) eh? This game makes sense?

You also seem to have thousands of dollars of donations, judging by your awards? I doubt mere mortals who play the game "normally" can ever reach that much.+ I'm not complaining, mind you. Just noticing that the "upper level" of Hentaiverse seems to be for those who spend either real money or 10 hours a day on it. This post has been edited by Zaesha: Apr 19 2015, 11:26

That's only GP........when one main up-loader decided to sell GP, its price will instantly go down to 100 credits/1K GP..... I only play GF recently. Do not really care about credits now. Maxed the 4 drop training few weeks ago. QUOTE(Zaesha @ Apr 19 2015, 17:25) I'm not complaining, mind you. No really IMO. Knowing the effective way for grinding is more important. 1-2 hours per day is enough for 1m+ credits per week. Even for level 300- players. This post has been edited by Colman: Apr 19 2015, 11:38

1. Niten for arena 50-100, 2H for SG. Arena on page 1 with 2H if not so in mood, dark mage if on the mood. 2. nintendo for 80, 90, and 100; hard for the rest. Hell or nintendo if doing dark mage. 3. 14; 3 at PL 200, the rest under 100. I can expect one good stuff per week.

You should go for Hell difficulty at the least for the regular Arenas. Even 2h shouldn't have any problem in Hell. And why do you even use 2h when you have a mage set? Furthermore, Dark is the fastest style out there right now. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) Anyway, How much time does it usually take for you to clear the all the Arenas? And 14 seems a bit low. My experience say that for a regular steady income from Monster Lab, 25+ mobs are needed. But I understand that it'll take a hell lot of time.

QUOTE(tetron @ Apr 19 2015, 06:07) I find it funny how people refer to 1m+ amount as "Cheap", when most of the players barely reach that amount after playing their asses off.
yup. here i am. you know what i have to do to bring home a bit of credits, and is still way more effective than playing (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) QUOTE(Colman @ Apr 19 2015, 08:23) Getting 1m in the 3 days payment period is not hard.
really? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) QUOTE(mozilla browser @ Apr 19 2015, 08:31) In the first case, most people aren't trying for a deprecating build. Plus, the robes would have been the most significant contributor of EDB, and replacing phase robes with cotton is also not a preferred build.
The second case should be more usable. But my calculations suggested that you'd need to forge three pieces of cotton at Mmax proficiency to approach 1.0 proficiency factor, and that's just too much loss in EDB. So although I have previously bought Mmax proficiency cloth, I now think they are not worthwhile.
QUOTE(malkatmp @ Apr 19 2015, 08:45) imo, it depends. if you're going for 200% prof build for no imperil, a maxed forged prof staff + a slightly over Mmax prof robe (maxed forged) will get you to 200%. that way you'll still have 4 phase for EBD. or you can get a close to Lmax prof pants + prof staff, both maxed prof forged. if you factor in Divine Warmage perk, you might have more options, but i haven't done the math yet.
alright, i guess i'll try to keep them in my shop for a while at low prices. thanks to both QUOTE(tetron @ Apr 19 2015, 08:52) You're missing the point.
