I just tried Invisible Pink Unicorn for the first time. Fucker hit me for 11K, and I have a little under 6K health. Wat do?

I have been using light armor + 2H, but I'm thinking that I need heavy armor for this guy. So do I just grind crude IWs for heavy armor proficiency now?

no. in the current build there's almost no reason to use niten at all, tbh. keep going with 2H/DW

1. monthly plan
   = 10 server x 30 days = 10 * 7 haths x 30 = 2100 haths
2. 3 months plan
   = 2100/0.9 = 2333.3 haths
3. 6 months plan
   = 2100/0.8 = 2625 haths
4. 12 months plan
   = 2100/0.7 = 3000 haths
5. 24 months plan
   = 2100/0.6 = 3500 haths
6. 36 months plan
   = 2100/0.5 = 4200 haths

Using today's haths' price to calculate its worth.
With the fastest plan:
Gold star = 2100 haths ~= 2100*6500 credits = 13.65m credits

12 months plan:
Gold star = 3000 haths ~= 3000*6500 credits = 19.5m credits

With the highest value plan:
Gold star = 4200 haths ~= 4200*6500 credits = 27.3m credits

The GP is ignored since the GP worth less than 5% of the haths. Perhaps should add 5% for the GP value and the Bitcoin exchange loss.

I'm unsure if switching from light armor to heavy armor will help survivability by much. In particular, heavy armor has no resist, meaning that Celestials and Sprites and FSM all have a decent chance of one-shotting all your HP in one SP attack. Light armor, by contrast, does have a good amount of resist, and SP attacks will rarely hit you for full damage.

If you want defense - which should start being a big issue now, given your level (monster PL starts skyrocketing 150-250), change your style to 1h + shield. Shields add an incredible amount of defense, and you only lose a little bit of clearing speed.

The prevaling thought is for players to switch to 1h + heavy / power slaughter, but I don't think the armor switch is a good idea, especially before Spirit Shield. If I were you, stick to Protection leather with 1h until the high PL monsters stop feeling especially dangerous (230? 250?), and then switch to heavy armor. After all, the main benefit to heavy armor is Power Slaughter, which is only an option after defense from level scaling is sufficient - not great to switch to Heavy if you're just going to use Plate in all slots.

If you think you have a possibility of running out of pots on FSM (which you shouldn't...), you can use Silence to keep him from using MP/SP attack. Keep it up constantly and the battle will be very easy, though long.

How do you activate/use Orbital Friendship Cannon?

I have just collected 21 different Figurines but the cannon skill doesn't appear on my skillbook? Or do i need to wait and it will appear tomorrow?

Or do I need to shrine them??

Try changing equipment sets or just wait until the Dawn.

I just got Daemon Duality. Does this Perk bonus get reflected in the Statistics block's Base Damage (Magic and Physical)?

I have not seen any change and tried changing my equipped weapon, equipment set, rearranging some of my ability points, and entering an arena. How will I know it has taken effect as a 10% boost in damage is not that readily noticeable when attacking or casting?

I just got Daemon Duality. Does this Perk bonus get reflected in the Statistics block's Base Damage (Magic and Physical)?

axes work very good on low levels because of high ADB & low monsters' HP. plus bleeding wound can still deal with eventual little HP left
it's only at our levels that you *need* rapiers to play efficiently, but for a starter even katanas of balance should work

guess something around 45~50% block would be good enough. throw in also a couple infusions on your weapon and if you don't have 15 potion slots already also some last elixirs, you'll definitely need them.
if you aren't able to do it now within a couple of tryings, wait for MP tank lv9 that will be unlocked at lv310
