About Item World from ehwiki: QUOTE The difficulty and experience gained depends on the quality rating of the item -- a Magnificent item will have significantly harder mobs than a Crude one The drop chance/quality is the same between a crude and a magnificent item?

The quality of drops does seem to improve with the quality of the item that you're fighting in. I absolutely get more lesser potions while I'm prof-grinding in Flimsy item worlds, and more Godlies while I'm EXP grinding in Superior item worlds.

How far you trained luck of draw? I only get Great/Superior items while grinding in Superior pieces.

I've found that my drop rate of godlies has been much more a factor of being higher level, rather than more LotD training. I only have 4 LotD ranks, and I haven't gotten any more ranks since I was lvl 90 or so. I was seeing 3-4 godlies a week back at level 90 (total), and I find a dozen or so godly a day now (of just mana).

Maybe I need to visit an ophthalmologist or stop to play drunk...
I'm pretty sure that I killed a monster, than he was alive again with 1 hp. And that happened about 4 times. Some monsters have "spark of life" or "phoenix down"?

QUOTE(_MSK_ @ Feb 13 2010, 15:55) Just now about 3000c disappeared from my account and I didn't bought anything, trained or died at arena. But I died at Item World... now if you die at IW you lose credit? Check in your Credit Log.

QUOTE(Dlaglacz @ Feb 13 2010, 13:23) Check in your Credit Log. Nothing there. Probaly I'm seen things that don't exist... alcohol problem. I probably confused with the "Current exp" numbers. Now I need to be sure about the "spark of life/phoenix down" monster ability.

No enemies have any means of reviving themselves.

Unless the HP bar says "DEAD" and their block is grayed out, they're not dead.

you need to raise your agility and dexterity agility raises your evade and action speed dexterity raises your attack accuracy which will help with your staff prof since in order to raise it you have to actually hit the monsters with it

QUOTE(scorp1on @ Feb 14 2010, 00:54) I was just wondering if there was a better way to go about being a Mage... Should I focus on one magic type, or keep doing a bit of everything as i have been? I now regret using poison, but from what i understand it'll be useful later so whatever. I'd like more points in mana tank, but havent had the points for it. Are my stats ok? i didnt want my agi / dex / str to get TOO far behind, despite the fact that they dont have a ton of usefulness for me. I know my gear sucks, but is it at least the right KIND? Thanks for any help.

I don't know much about being a mage, since I have yet to try, but I can tell you 1 thing right away: Your gear really sucks (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) Cotton it's the worst armour that exists, it's only used against specificity mobs, to provide mitigation. As a mage, you should find some gossamer of elementalist for elemental proficiency/rating bonus and with great evasion to avoid getting hit, that's all I known. About your abilities, you should remove the AP in exp bonus and forget poison for now, use weaken instead, because is cheaper than poison, so you can cast more, and make the mob effected, hit with only 50% physical damage, and cric hits, which is usefull to use on mini-bosses right now. Finally, balance your HP/MP tanks, don't just full the MP tanks or HP tanks. This post has been edited by cmdct: Feb 14 2010, 03:22

I would give priority to balancing HP and MP tanks from now on. That would mess up your MP costs if you reassigned AP now, but having every element spell covered won't do any good if you're dead. Whatever you do, keep Cure. I don't know how much use you'd get out of Poison right now, since MP conservation has to be a concern. But keep in mind that the reason it's so weak now is because your Deprecating proficiency and Magic Rating are low. You'll need it once you start taking on the tougher bosses. Oh, and keep in mind that when you DO hit monsters with your staff, STR, DEX, and AGI would help you do more damage, so don't neglect them too much. AGI factors into your speed as well, and you want to be fast, especially as a mage who doesn't have full HP tanks.

So AGI / DEX / STR is really that important, huh? honestly i usually only ever swing my staff to finish something off for giggles when i dont feel like using magic missile, or to proc ether theft. I'll start balancing my tanks as well, but i dont think im going to bother resetting my points. And of course, I'll keep my eye out for decent gear :-\
Thanks for the help!

Just wondering if anyone knows if the mobs get faster as you level. Because I have 125 action speed and only 40 burden which puts me at 105 actual action speed, but mobs are still getting double hits off. So are they getting faster or have they always had higher than 100 action speed?

I believe they "match" your Action Speed (supposedly normal mobs have stats similar to your own at that level, give or take a few points), but as you level you start getting slightly faster than them. The X Abilities and Haste help a lot, too.

Enemies stats increase as they level but at a rate that is slower than that of the players (people might disagree with me on this, but my ability to kill progressively larger amounts of enemies is proof of it), so, no, they should not be getting faster at a greater rate than you are unless you are slacking on investing in agility. And you can never entirely get rid of the occasional double hit. edit: Beaten by Cmal. I shouldn't have been doing that arena while typing... This post has been edited by Boggyb: Feb 14 2010, 23:56
