How Does the forum posting bonus work? Does it only apply to the dawn of the day or all monster battles?

I was under the impression that it applies to monster battles only.

So what difficulties did you run these on, and what's the term "hellfest" (suicide grindfest?)

Hellfest means Grindfest on difficulty Hell.

I'm trying to overhaul my equipment and planning to go with Power Set of Protection. What should I look for, Emax pmi?

I've noticed that the amount of experience I've been getting per battle has been about 1/4 lower than usual in the arena. I have plenty of stamina, have not changed difficulty, and I am playing the same arena levels but I did recently go up a level. Is this just bad luck or has something else changed?

If I were you, I'd either use Plate of Protection to increase toughness or Power Slaughter to increase clearing speed, rather than go half-and-half and get fewer benefits overall. Power Slaughter can have more than double adb compared to ordinary Power (a huge increase), so if you want more clearing speed, get Power Slaughter (or at least a very well rolled Power Balance). Put Plate of Protection in other slots you want defense - you'll have more adb overall and more mitigation overall than if you use Power of Protection. (though, burden will be somewhat higher, but if you need the Plate to survive, that's fine)

Edit: Another bonus for doing this is that as you reach higher levels and find you don't need so much defense anymore, you'll have to replace fewer slots, since you'll already have a few Power Slaughter.

I would like to know could lower level (250-) 1h players afford ethereal rapier ? Or would they prefer IWed elemental exq rapier ?

Ethereal rapier of what? Outside mag+ of slaughter, of course! Lvl 250 can save 1m of credit if they want to. Currently only slaughter command ridiculous price. Balance and nimble, although sought after for DW set, doesn't get so much demand only mag+ commands decent price.

So i have finally got Innate Arcana 2 and im wondering what should i aim for next.

I have 3 options in mind but im not sure of which is the best one to do first:

1-Saving all credits and hath and buy a gold star from another player(im not sure if this is allowed but i have seen threads on this forums doing it so i assume it is). The bonuses seem pretty good and I believe it is the best option but it will take a while to reach.

2- Going for Crystarium perks: I have heard they are good to get but i dont do grindfest often so it doesnt seem that appealing to obtain.

3-Going for Tokenizer perks: They seem to be a better option than Crystarium ones but very expensive.

Im open to another alternatives as well.

I've gone for crystarium. I don't grind much, but mobs coughing extra crystal gives unexplainable pleasure for a good while.

Exquisite Ethereal Rapier of Slaughter, price goes from 30k to 300k+ for a really good one. So a decent one will cost a newer player a few first clear bonuses or so. I remember I got mine for 100k around level 150, though it's Hallowed, not Ethereal.

It's affordable, it just requires the player to not spend all their money as soon as they get it.

On normal diff its near 250, on hell near 267 and on pf almost 288. There is no difference between any arena and fest and i didnt noticed difference in round rewards. Mostly it has changes only in low and mid segment of gear. So on pf we doesnt see much average and mostly its sup-exq, but chances to get magnificent+ is near same on any difficulty.

UPD. Actually maybe its a bit luck, but maybe more accurate result. I got 2 magnificent on pf with only 240 samples. I was expecting it, because higher average gonna also reduce timespending for closer area. Its not something huge and first result we can see exactly as increase in low-mig segment. We dont face full trash and get a bit higher prefix, but also i expect a little increase for magnificent. Its very close to it and probably we can get earlier than 1/2000. Lgrade isnt very close to it, so its still even if not 1/40000 than anyway not so common. So i wanna collect a bit more info and check distribution.

We could afford it, some bonuses from first clear of ring of blood and arena would be a pretty much sum, after all.

Though, I personally prefer IW'd elemental exq rapier of slaughter/nimble, from the cost perspective, and predetermined of the elemental bonuses, whether it's dark/holy/ice, and I don't have much time to do IW. (As I just play for random encounter)

So rapier can cost very high amount if it has good proc, damage, parry and 3 pabs. I paid 250k for mine and it has only good proc (even 2 pabs).
