nice rapier, but personally i suggest you a waki of nimble: BW isn't so strong nowadays (in particular waki's BW), and it's not that 8% more offhand means so much; on the contrary, you may benefit of the bonus parry - but actually it has not to be easy to find an affordable leg waki of nimble. also, butcher on offhand isn't exactly a big result...

yep. i just resetted mine because it had butcher 3 and swift 1 and now it has fatality 2 and swift 1. at this point my next goal is to build a +80% crit DW shade set (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

A lot of resists and evade. I just want to cover both aspects of avoidance. works fine I think.

My ultimate goal is shadowdancer. but it is really rare and expensive.

System do 3 rolls.
Successful Rolls Damage Reduction
0 0%
1 50%
2 75%
3 90%

It means f.e. with 50% resist:
12.5% chance to resist 90%
37.5% chance to resist 50%
37.5% chance to resist 75%
12.5% chance to resist 0%.

yeah another question : concerning the main hand weapon (One Handed Power Heavy mode) i see players use mostly rapiers, is the PA worth more than what you'll get in damage in the other weapons ? or there is another reason that people choose rapiers?

Rapier gives huge armor reduction. I dont know exact numbers, but its near x2 damage for me with all 3 stacks. Almost same as full imperil debuff.

Here is example from FSM.
0 stack. crit 5810 (65% bonus damage)
1 stack. 3430-4200.
2 stacks. 6600.
3 stacks. 7400 max.
Max imperil and 3 stacks. 7800-8200, but i think FSM has incredible defense, so it gives additional damage.

wakizashis are not good for mainhand, few people use dw/niten. & i care

you need to pass sad panda first, some firefox add-ons can do that, i forgot.
If you have editing & negotiation skill, it's worth more than grinding at some point.

Evade is checked first, so if you evade, you don't even have a chance of counter-attack.

Parry only works on physical attacks. (similarly, Resist only works on magical attacks) Block works both on physical and magical attacks.

Block is by far the best type to value - it works on all attacks and allows for counter-attack.
