man i vaguely recalled almost blowing 10m on a mag eth mace around the same time last year, when people were still trying to make 2h work.

As Hentaiverse Equipment Comparison 0.6.4.0 somehow doesn't work for me as it only says loading...and after 1 hour still not finished, can someone pls tell me the stats of my mace...whats is mmax etc...thanks in advance (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

There are 3 ways:
1. Check in other tab (f.e. its working for me in invertory pop up, but doesnt work in separate).
2. Change font from default to something different.
3. Check wiki links.

It should not say loading at all (i got that msg only without working situation).

Aww someone bought one of my potential rapiers, I guess thats always a risk. Ill try to go for the ethereal one but I hope I don't have to buy it for more than 400k.

I always thought ethereal would be far and away better than elemental ones but im seriously considering buying a good holy or demonic one for 200k or so from a shop or auction (I wont link the ones im looking at this time) and then paying the 300k or so to have it IWed and be done with it.

Some of the higher level guys (Colman) don't even seem to have ethereal rapiers, only elemental ones. That seems like a better strategy because im limited to 500k for now, if I bought the ethereal rapier i wouldn't be able to IW it for a while.

Im assuming all things being equal it goes holy >demonic > elemental if I was to buy a non ethereal rapier.

What do you guys think?

buying an elemental rapier is a good strategy if you know from the start which element you want and you don't care about a few BUR points

if you really want to go for a prefixed, personally i'd consider the number/composition of the mobs you have to go against, so i'd say:
demonic (given the high number of celestials around; useful for SGs as well) > holy (cure boost is nice to have and useful for SGs, but it will slow you against celestials) ~ cold (dragonkins are quite a pest too, and useful against arthropods) > wind (useful against dragonkins, albeit a bit less; good against giants too) > elec (useful against giants) ~ fire

you should also consider that once you have reached void damage + void strike you already will deal more damage than all the other strikes and if you really need a specific one you can always resort to infusions (you can infuse your weapon to have void strike as well, btw); also, don't take it for granted but there's a chance that the leftover rapiers (elec and fire ones) may be a little cheaper than the first-class ones (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

At high level and assuming you're not maging, holy rapier is the best, mainly for the cure bonus (pretty much everything is all about lasting longer in grindfest, so those insignificant stats like holy edb, crit chance, agi, matter). Elemental weapon, once you get it to have void strike, doesn't make much of a difference, especially considering that you can save a few mil. Ethereal was popular with low level because they can't do IW themselves, nor afford the iw service. If you're in a position to iw, just get a mag elemental rapier with good roll. They give bigger benefit than what you can get with exq ethereal.

Yes.

Yup. The amount of HP restored by the Cure spell is calculated as follows:

Base health restored = (base_health * AP / 100) * (1 + holy EDB / 100)

The red part is where the said bonus comes from.
Since the holy EDB gains are the same no matter the weapon is equipped as mainhand or offhand, the bonuses are the same as well.

Best way to grind 1h/heavy proficiency to 300 (currently almost 0) with the least amount of Stamina expended? I'm thinking:

- Get a crappy 1h non-slaughter weapon
- Use my best force shield
- Use non-power heavy armor of protection/warding, etc so that monsters don't die so quickly
- go into Crude IW at PFUDOR difficulty
- attack attack attack

Or would the Crude IW be a waste of stamina? Maybe, the schoolgirls would be better once I can do them.

Is this worth anything for holy mages?

imo an MHOH should have ~Emax MDB and at least 31+ EDB to be considered decent, unfortunately yours is 28, so...
FYI for some reason the roll of MDB of a MHOH tends to be "looks good", but it's kinda a trap when choosing a MHOH, because the difference of Mmax MDB and Emax MDB of a MHOH is merely 0.8x, which is quite small. (maybe even Emax-1 MDB is okay, the more important stat is EDB for a MHOH)

Don't worry about specific grinding for melee builds, just play as you normally would and suffer slightly less performance for 1 level, by 307 you will probably have the proficiency maxed.
