QUOTE(treesloth @ Jan 15 2015, 10:25) those are quite expensive, no? any Emax/Mmax rapier that is not hallowed/eth/dem is okay. MMmax>block >Emax. Finally, EMax>ADB>Smax power slaughter can be found. All in all should be ~1m.
So, rapier of slaughter with at least Emax (weapon damage? ), force shield with at least Emax block, and power slaughter armour with at least S max attack damage bonus? I'm regretting not asking the Freeshop for melee equipment. Maybe it's not too late O:-) Edit: is rapier of slaughter important? This post has been edited by mozilla browser: Jan 15 2015, 07:06

For 1H, it's necessary.

Near essential - more damage is always a good thing.

Consider you don't violate common sense and still hope the PA turns/PABS/PMI/MMI/others not suck too much, Expensiveeasy to find one at good priceReally costs some credits ~ ExpensiveThe word "at least SMax ADB" is quite dangerous in budget, because -the market is valid starting from somewhere well below Smax -the price scales up in a steep way Well there is a related affairs giving me trouble..... My Power slaughters are S-2.5/S-3.4/S-1.6/S-2.5/S-3.4 in ADB. (0.88/0.86/0.915/0.89/0.8 compare to Smax) While forging shield is a confirmed long term task, I cannot decide how to balance funds between rapier and armor. It's also a hard decision whether my current armor should be forged..... (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

QUOTE(treesloth @ Jan 14 2015, 18:25) Just keep playing until I get the next gear and save for FoS (which will be supremely buffed). Awesome drops all the time means I won't have to keep running any H@H. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Kind of makes me wonder if Tenboro is going to buff Follow of Snowflake by buffing the Shrine overall, or if he's doing something only to Follower of Snowflake to make it awesome. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) You bring up a good point. My guess is that he will buff shrining for FoS perk holders only. For two reasons: 1, drops are going to be good enough that equipment shrining is unnecessary for non-FoS perk holders, and 2, to keep people donating/contributing to get FoS.

The script is probably broken, if the description of the wiki is to believe.

So I've got myself a Legendary Ethereal Axe of the Vampire, it causes bleeding wounds on monsters left and right, it also deals Void Strikes in addition to basic damage, yet so far I haven't seen any Vampiric effects whatsoever: no icons on monsters, no lines in battle logs, no health restoration from attacking enemies, nothing. Am I doing something wrong here? How exactly Siphon Health is supposed to work in theory?

Am I doing something wrong here? How exactly Siphon Health is supposed to work in theory? every turn there's the chance that it can siphon some health from mobs you attack: at my level we're speaking about 100HP every ~5 hits. the only evidence of this process happening is a black line, similar to those of spirit shield processing, no icons. your axe is quite nice, but vampire siphoning process is pretty useless by its own - not that illithid or banshee are much better, only less worse

Am I doing something wrong here? How exactly Siphon Health is supposed to work in theory? Vampire weapons have a chance (21% here) to drain health from the enemy you attack. When it proc, you should see something like that in the log: QUOTE 15 3 Void Strike crits The Shepherdess for 1315 void damage. 15 2 You crit The Shepherdess for 4183.9 void damage. 15 1 You drain 104.9 HP from The Shepherdess Vampire prefix is bad overall, illith and banshee are a bit better. For an axe, the recommended suffix is slaughter since axes have a high attack. You should probably use a rapier instead, given how useful Penetrated Armor is for dealing damage.

Best way to grind some two-handed proficiency? (or any weapon proficiency for that matter)

Attack attack attack, in a Crude IW at PFUDOR difficulty so that monsters don't die easily but don't hit hard either. Or just use the weapon style in normal gameplay. This post has been edited by Dan31: Jan 15 2015, 20:41

Or fight the trio and just let the tree life. He will heal the others, so you can stay there a while. Never did it myself, but it should work.
