QUOTE(mozilla browser @ Jan 7 2015, 00:16) That brings me to another thought. High PL monsters will need various debuffs stacked onto them right? Eg, Imperil + Magnet, maybe Silence. Since I need to debuff them anyway, should I be getting a deprecating proficiency cloth instead? I think Magnet will render them unable to resist.
Imperil is the only debuff spell needed. For high prof players, imperil is not needed for mobs as well.

Do I need to invest on upgrading my exq/mag equipments?

For 2h + light armor setup, is evade chance a priority for armor upgrading?

Upgrades and item worlds are useful when you already have top-tier gear, but anything less than that and your credits will almost certainly be better spent on saving towards getting better gear. No sense in spending 50k (or 500k or much more, depending on how far you want to go) on upgrading something unless you're sure you aren't going to replace it any time soon. This is especially true for pieces that require special materials like Shade Fragments, which cost a bunch.

Upgrade your weapon stats to lvl 5 at least, since it doesn't require special materials. Evade is important, but do you have Mag Shade of the Fleet/Shadowdancer nice enough to upgrade? Gather a 1H/Power set (rapier of slaughter + force shield with high block + power armor set), it starts to be really strong around your level (train the prof to 100+). Also, 1H is probably the best style to afford PFUDOR early. You may also try 1H/Shade first, which is even more defensive. This post has been edited by Dan31: Jan 6 2015, 19:43

yep, i am thinking about increasing 1h prof. Now it is too low. I have one sup rapier of slaughter. may just run some arenas in low difficulty for training up. but i really like 2h more (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) ---- two pieces of mag armors http://hentaiverse.org/pages/showequip.php...;key=7f227d1191http://hentaiverse.org/pages/showequip.php...;key=24bc9e4fe2legs and feet are exq shade shadowdancer

Is it worth grinding it out in the Item World for a weapon I've been using for a long time but intend to replace eventually? http://hentaiverse.org/pages/showequip.php...;key=3f3e39b185I'm honestly seeing better items in the weapon shop (assuming I spend some time leveling them up and upgrading them) but don't want to upgrade until I find something Magnificent at least. Assuming I don't come anywhere close to being able to buy a Magnificent weapon from someone else, and don't intend to buy anything from the shop, would it be worth just upgrading this thing so I can keep using it until I find something better?

From which level you stop donning any exquisite gears? At the same vein, when do you start equipping full legendary gears?

Think of IW as costing in the level of 200k (roughly how much people would be willing to do it for you). If you think that 200k is worth how much damage you get (around 2% per level). Then do it. Also sent you a better mace. QUOTE(clarkiest @ Jan 7 2015, 02:20) From which level you stop donning any exquisite gears? At the same vein, when do you start equipping full legendary gears?
When you have enough credits. It is important to remember which stats are important as legendaries can be worse than magnificent if they have a bad stat distribution.

And thank you very much for that! I'm gonna give my old mace back to the shop. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) If it keeps its levels and enchantments, I bet someone'll get some more use out of it! Edit:Wait, is it even possible to send the mace over MoogleMail? I have it unlocked but it's not appearing under the Attach Equip list. I dunno how to donate this thing to the free shop. QUOTE(Dan31 @ Jan 5 2015, 11:49) If you don't have too much time to play, clear the early arenas at low difficulty (Hell minimum) with an Estoc or Longsword of Slaughter every day for the credit clear bonus. Otherwise, don't switch set but still pick a difficulty you are comfortable with. You didn't participate in the Yuletide Lottery btw? You missed a Thin Mint giving 1 hath per dawn and +20% exp. nec1986, you too should have joined. So, besides donating or winning awards or any other not-in-game method, is clearing arenas each day the only way to efficiently gain creds? Those 1k clear bonuses don't feel like much when considering the costs of training, good gear, etc., especially as I progress in level and the things I need become really expensive.

Is it in any of the equipped sets?

The amount of credits you can earn from Arenas maxes out at about 300-400k, depending on what you do with your loot. It is possible to make a lot more from Grindfest, but not everyone can meet the hath perk and equipment requirements. Additionally, you pretty much need an awesome job where you can sit at the computer all day unsupervised. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) Easy mode is probably getting a VPS and capping out its bandwidth with H@H clients.

I recommend fast clear at Hell for those who don't have time to play. But the higher the difficulty, the higher the credit drops. So find a difficulty you are comfortable with (not necessarily the highest you can manage, but one that you can clear reasonably fast without problem).

The first 5 level require no bindings, but they still do require special materials. You still have to spend Shade Fragments to upgrade any given level of a Shade piece of armor.

You're both right. Dan was referring to weapons.

why no one said me this is gonna be so tough? http://hentaiverse.org/pages/showequip.php...;key=c60998f672Even 0-->200 forb prof grind was much easier. And i also got very lucky start with 2F. Im not surprised about that high price for IW. Huge amount of rounds without many rewards (only 2k credits per run with some equip). So probably i ll get 5-7lvl for my armor. Its quite fast with biggest increase.

Oh, I'm asking about your (answerer's) case. The answer will serve as some sort of benchmark since I don't have credits to buy good mag weapon, let alone leg. Leg leather is rested case though... (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
