You have no resource to keep its morale high with your current pace. At least you need to play 200-300 rounds @ normal to keep one monster active if you do not want to use credits to raise it.

I've already gotten so many things -- including the mace above -- that I'd feel like a leech if I did something like that.
I guess I could donate Superiors to the free shop to make up for it, but it still doesn't feel right.

For mainhand weapons (or 2 handed weapons), the Slaughter suffix is almost always the way to go - ~1.5x more weapon damage is a pretty big help, usually more so than the benefits of the other suffixes like Balance. If the other rolls were the same but it was of Slaughter, its damage (at your level) would be in the high 700s. The prefix is also important. As melee you'll want either Ethereal for more damage and no burden/interference or Hallowed for better healing power - either would be a nice step up for you.

As long as you're willing to settle for something less than Magnificent, it shouldn't be hard or expensive to find an upgrade. You can use Freeshop or go to the WTS section or even the Bazaar. Don't worry about feeling like a leech, most Exquisites and less are a dime a dozen for those that play regularly.

I don't know when the key times to upgrade my equipment are. In all honesty, everything I'm using right now was given to me by other players.

When you think you have the fighting style and equipment style you're going to use for a while, go ahead and buy a premium piece or two to up your effectiveness, and keep upgrading when you have the funds. Being able to play on a higher difficulty is much better than having credits collecting dust in the bank, after all.

Your equipment seems fine for your level. It's actually better than mine, lol. For reference, I'm currently running an unforged 1H + shielding heavy armor set and I can do the first page of the Arena on PFUDOR without much difficulty.
Heavy armor with the 'Slaughter' suffix are the most optimal choice for 1H, but the better ones are fairly expensive. Best idea would be to hollowforge the rapier and train Packrat / Adept Learner (if you haven't already).
Random Encounters give a ton of exp, do as many as possible after finishing your daily arena rounds.

You got Juggernaut level 1 on chest and helmet at the first level, that's great. If you plan to keep those equips for a while, the +~10-15% hp from Jug 3 or 4 will be great, if you can manage the IW.

I'm in a pretty similar situation. I'm using OK-ish heavy armor that I plan on upgrading soon but I'm not completely sure what to look for. For my defense-oriented IW set I'm thinking about trying to find Shielding Plate of Warding for everything, or for every piece but one with Power Slaughter, but I'm not 100% sold on the focus on magic mitigation.

If you want clearing speed for Arena, try for Power Slaughter armor. It's pretty expensive but it's the best for speed, hands-down.

switch those gauntlets for a power armor. you won't lose so much block but you may have a significantly boost (+ 150~250, depending on what you find) in ADB. also, try to get void strike on your rapier as soon as possible

1. Do you think those Drop Quality/Chance trainings are worth it? Got any Legendary drop yet?
I think 20/7 is okay, if not over, at our level, cost-wise. Describe them with "only" sounds so odd.

2. For me, my 5 Pow of Slaughter armor pieces only add up to 510K..... (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif)
Of course, it takes lots of lurking and hunting and chance-taking. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
And sometimes a bought piece can be defeated by a new piece (even a 150K piece can be defeated by 50K),
which makes the actual cost of collecting them much higher (close to 900k spent in whole operation...many silly mistakes).

3. Not only hollowforged weapon makes things generally better,
but also it's important when facing those big dudes with high resistances.
Two schools and all three gods have 50 pierce resistance (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

One piece of plate is enough. If you feeling not safe, switch it to a leg plat of protection (because you feel better when forging it (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) ).
Then, slowly switch the power to power slaughter.
Only do the drop related training when they are cheap. Your equipment set have a long way go.

I recemtly finished Triple Trio and the Tree in the Ring of Blood. I'm thinking of doing it again but I am wondering if there is a better strategy, since it took almost an hour and my entire item supply.

My first mistake: I should have used only heroic potions, instead of a mix of heroic and greater.
I used a club and a wakizashi. Should I have used the mace I normally use? Or perhaps a rapier instead of the wakizashi? My dual wield proficiency is high but my two handed is maxed out (for now).
My deprecating proficiency is not high enough to use Silence. Should I wait until I can?
Does Yggdrasil heal everybody or just the Goddesses? That would make it a less important target.
Do the buffs the Goddesses leave behind make them worth leaving alone until the end?
For the rest, is it better to take out the weaker ones first since they go down quicker or the stronger ones since they are a greater threat and warrant the use of Spark of Life.

Probably most important of all, are the trophies really worth it over just fighting the Flying Spaghetti Monster alone?

i can't imagine how to do it in decent time without penetrated armor effect, implemented in whatever way you want - rapier + shield, club of slaughter + rapier of nimble; maybe rapier of slaughter + waki of nimble or estoc of slaughter are a bit too risky for this task

not mandatory but it would really be useful if you want to do it at higher difficulties. every now and then in arenas too, when you're forced to siphoning and don't want your main battery to suddenly cast SP attack on you, so it's not a waste of time to reach it

all the mobs. either cutting or silencing the tree has priority; in the first case it will leave the 'fury of the sisters' effect permanently active on all mobs, in the second case absorbing ward will be forever active and you'll have to constantly look at it. your choice

goddesses buff every other monster too. you should get rid of other targets first, leaving them as last priority - and do a 4some with them while no other mob watches you (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) - or at least get rid of two-three other stronger mobs before going against them

in theory, after cutting the tree, you should go against FSM, then IPU/dragons, RL and goddesses at last.
in practice, do what you want/can (including silencing/weakening some of them) but yggdrasil surely come first.
also, i'd wait until spirit shield is a bit more usable and cast SoL via scrolls if really needed

questionable. many people says that PF TT&T has the greatest chance of dropping something good in the whole game (together with PF DwD) but trollish drops aren't exactly so rare. i guess you may be happy enough with going against FSM alone and taking 2 noodlies at the price of one. every now and then you still find someone who buys them at 30k or so...

Penetrated Armor greatly improves your damage, so yeah, use a rapier. I would advise you to switch to 1H/Power at your level, regardless of your proficiencies.

It helps a lot, especially on PFUDOR difficulty.

It's the RoB that gives the best equipment, but you need a high LotD to get the best of it. You may want to stick to FSM for now for the garanteed trophy drop.

At your level, you're still eligible for the FreeShop. You'd better change all your equips there (except the wakizashi).
After Lv.200 the best choice is to switch to 1H style (1H+power armor or 1H+shade armor) to be able to play safely at higher difficulties.
