Regarding elixirs, flower vase and bubblegum

Could these items be developed with ring of blood arena kept in mind.

Since its a one round death battle so each overkill item counts and were NOT meant for grind fest and normal arenas .
I know this question is rhetorical but i would like your opinion on ROB strategy to use them if possible.

Alright, so OFC is near useless for me. And, maybe I should change my play style to stop bashing monsters with my staff.

The very idea of bashing monsters with a stick when you control obscure arcane forces of divine power is kinda odd in the first place. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Flower Vase and Bubble Gum, as we just stated, don't drop often enough/last long enough to be of any practical use. They are just to play around with, in RoB as you say for example.

Elixirs are best used for very long battles like Dance with Dragons and Grindfest.

now you found the way how to use them. For last elixir, it's useful for saving slots & beneficial when sp/mp bar are empty at the same time.

I have two questions about Bubble Gum and Flower Vase:

1. Do they Stack? Like "3x Bubble Gum" or "3x Flower Vase + 2x Bubble Gum"?
If they do, then are the Effects Stack Multiplicatively or Additively?

2. Wiki says that the Effect of Flower Vase is this: "Your attack/magic damage, attack/magic hit/crit chance, and evade/resist chance increases significantly for a short time."
I want to know the how much Evade and Resist are gained from using a single Flower Vase, and whether the Evade/Resist gain Stack or not.

Should I keep reforging at level 1 if I do not get economizer? I think I've already done this 5 times - how many shards will be required, on average?

Well, yeah, you're absolutely right. Staff prof is probably the most boring and bothersome to raise. And it's kinda useful since it raises magic damage. Speaking of magic damage, since you're not using a staff of destruction, it may be interesting to aim for radiant equipment (with decent spell damage)?

Keep trying, you'll get it eventually.

As for reforge advice:

In the first run, clear it at the difficulty that won't make the equip to Lv.2, so when you see a potency you don't want, you can reforge it with only 1 Amnesia Shard.
In the second run, clear it at the difficulty that won't make the equip to Lv.3, so when you see a potency you don't want, you can reforge it with only 2 Amnesia Shards.

And some extra info for you (quoted from a PM from wannaf):

5mc 4cr(best for gf) or 5mc 4am(best for arena)
so if your aim is just 5mc,2mc start is important.when you get 3mc on lv3 .it is worthy to reach lv9 ,then 5mc or reforge.
if your aim is 5mc with 3+cr or am,you can start with
2mc or
2cr/am
or 1mc+1cr/am
i think they are all the same.

mc = mana conservation (economizer)
cr = counter resist (penetrator)
am = archmage

I would, but decent equipment seems to be hard to find. With the radiant prefix, it becomes even rarer. And wouldn't you know it, I'm starting to feel poor (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif) So I'll probably get whatever I can afford for now.

Get it at least to lvl 2 on the two first levels. BTW, an existing potency has 50% chance of gaining a level if not maxed (less if there are other potencies).

The cap of 3 potencies was introduced recently. Before, you could get any number of potencies (or maybe 4 max, I don't know).

Mana Conservation is pretty good on any staff, especially Holy/Dark staffs since the mana cost is high.
Archmage is especially good on Destruction staffs, and for Arenas.
Penetrator is great for Grindfest reportedly.
I don't really know about the other potencies.

surely c first, since it's almost free and you'll need it eventually. aim for 200 prof to unlock ragnarok and configure hoverplay to spam corruption on hit-and-run grindfests at normal difficulty. use whatever cloth armor you can find with high WIS (possibly not fenrir because you'd advance too quickly) and 'useless' greater potions are good enough. also, personally i found staffs too bothersome because of that annoying ether tap thing, so i use two old 1H weapons with WIS bonus
then search for nice gears (for example, a MMax+ force shield and a rapier with decent PA stats. btw, you are 1H, aren't you?). no need to IW all of them, the rapier is good enough.

Well, for credits, you can always begin with boosting drop-related trainings (Scavenger, Quartermaster, Luck of the Draw, Archeologist), always training the cheaper. Maybe keep Luck of the Draw a bit ahead of the rest.

What's your current equipment set? (Hover over an equipment and press 'c' to get a link to it.)

If you use 1H, you should already be able to clear PFUDOR random encounters at the very least. If not, seek better gear immediately.

1a. imo, IW max your weapon & maybe 5-6lvls for others. though, it really depends on how long you're going to keep them. also, extra 15-20 lvls of Juggernaut can be pretty useful. Lastly, it's FREE, it only requires time & maybe some Amnesia Shards.
b. not buying stuff is the best way to save credits, say you average 200k/day, you'll get ~1.4mil/wk.
c. Mage is not any cheaper. also, maybe try maging ~lvl310-350. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)

yea, and i think 1h is more than enough. Maybe later i ll learn a bit mage, but 2h and other looks not so good. Atm my weak spot probably rapier, but also i got quite decent damage, so maybe with good sp theif its much better.

Quite easy and long time ago, but without focusing/sp theft i can clear only 35-40 rounds in fest. Not something special.

Look for a better rapier of slaughter (Ex+), either Ethereal, Hallowed or Demonic, with 3 PABs.
Then look for better helmet (with 3 PABs), better gauntlets (with DEX), better leggings (Ex+), better shield (with more block)... Nowadays, you can get legendary power of protection/warding for 50~100k in auctions.

Can anybody give me tip for IW?
I'm on round 53/67 for a Katana on normal and well... How to put it. I have no pots left, next to no mana (12 points) and I would really hate to have to go through all those round again. Anyone know anyway to help?

At that stage (no mana) you might be screwed. Try save your overcharge and spam focus when there is one mob remaining (focus restores ~5% base mana for 25% overcharge, but you take more damage and can't parry/block/evade for 2 turns).

Usually you want to wait until you are much stronger to IW equipment, as lesser equipment is not worth the effort.

A few questions come to mind:
Equipment & items
1. my equipment inventory is maxed out, if I sell all does it automatically sell the ones I equipped too? any way to save the good ones, so they don't get sold as well?
2. Do monster level effect credit drops? is it faster to gain credits playing high levels (it takes a lot more time to clear levels) or playing at low levels? the only difference I noticed is I get 3x crystal drops, and better quality items at higher levels... I dunno how level/difficulty effects credits
3. what level do monsters start dropping mags and legs?

Monster Lab:
1. which chaos upgrade do you deem is most useful?
2. is it better to use chaos upgrades on a few ones on all their stats or to use them to make more monsters? same goes to crystals, do we get more items by focusing upgrading 1 monster to a really high level, or having a lot of so so monsters?
