This is a really dumb question but: As my level goes higher, does that mean the quality of the drop goes higher too? Like more crystals, potions, and better equipment?

Indirectly, yes. As you level, you'll fight higher level monsters. Higher power level monsters have up to +150% base drop rate, so you'll be getting more drops.

I don't know whether or not monster stat bonus is still counted toward quality boost, but if it is, higher level scaled monsters will also have higher quality drops.

I want to go 1h but too many people are doing it which makes it riskique.

I think 1H is the best style for grindfest now.

you shouldn't have credits problems, so i guess you are referring to nerfs with updates. but just wondering, should it really happen, which style will be decent enough to be still used?

Hallowed is better if you do not need a low burden.

I perfer the Ethereal Mage style as far as unorthodox style goes, but alas, that one was long gone before I even managed to get a taste of it. I bet the phase armaments of the void could fetch ~100 Megacredits if it exists.

Well, due to complications it would introduce to the game balance on both sides:

Scenario 1: 10B introduced the Void as the 7th element and it'll become so overpowered that the bindings for the Void element becomes brokenly expensive as the more and more players jump in the bandwagon for the heck of it.
Scenario 2: 10B introduced the Void as a supplementary element, Without the perks of a full-fledged elemental mage, it'll be too underpowered without the EDB from phase armaments and void-elemental staves.

10B had implemented the Scenario 2 as Soul Mage style some time long before I was around to play the game, but that one was long gone in the wake of a certain patch.

Not gonna happen cuz 10B is way too dismotivated to open the super-customized Snowflake's forge orders to the lowly adventurers like us.

And yes, that one has an always maxed out conditions. We have to spend insane amount of Hath just to make our equips 10 times more durable.

Speaking of what-to-see in HV, I thought that the Ultima spell would've make a good magic counterpart to the OFC (kinda like the Starlight Breaker spell that practically gave away a One-Turn-Kill card every 50 turns for maybe holding a few collections), but... well, you know how things goes.

If 1h is nerfed, DW will definitely NOT get a buff (Because of the Offhand Parry Bonus). 2h will probably get a buff in that case, but I'm not sure what kind of buff that will be. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

You can afford ethereal katana & shadowdancer, you're good to go. The price of dmm & ra keep getting higher, better to get them early imo.

Barehanded, the obvious choice.

2H would benefit from getting back its original skill attack ranges, for example.

Or from having them expand based on proficiency, that'd be useful too.

And/or from having Shatter Strike overwrite Mace stuns while not overwriting the skill's own stuns (to avoid perma-stuns whle making the last skill less of a gamble for Mace users).

The bandwagon logic makes that way to expensive. Then the bandwagon will change and I will be left having wasted million of credits.
