Is it me or is upgrading equipment extremely costly?
And umm, how does one finish the item world when it goes for 60+ rounds? Does it get easier once my gear is better or am I doing something wrong?

Upgrading equipment is costly. It is normal that you cannot finish IW at your level. In addition, I doubt whether you own any equipment that is worth IWing. At your level, I am not sure whether you can finish IWBTH IW even if you have a full set of high-end gear.

Probably he cant. I couldnt finish even normal more than 40 rounds or near that and its huge difference in difficulte. That time i didnt know about huge power increasing from exp leveling.
Btw. Near which powerlvl monsters gonna win some fights? I have one giant with 94 and he won 5 times, but actually its long time without new one. Looks like near 25-30 they can win few times, but with upgrade amount decrease. Celestial has 157 and its only 1 win from that 25-30 mark (she got 2 wins in that range).

No. And that's indeed an incredible streak of bad luck (~1 in 10000 chance). Are you relying on a script to show gems btw?

I'd probably IW10 any equips for you for 50k each, since your under 100. If it's just superior probably less. QUOTE(Colman @ Dec 5 2014, 03:14) I means something like this (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Australia. Where everything wants to kill you.

Do any of you guys have any long-term advice for how to succeed? Right now, I mainly just grind the Arena to stockpile credits for the days in the future where I download an archive from the galleries. I was wondering if you guys have any ideas on any way, if possible, to hasten credit acquisition. And experience I guess. Before you ask, yes I haven't equipped anything. Idk why, maybe the equipment maintenance cost was annoying or maybe I was just lazy. I don't know why it's like that either.

I am thinking of buying the autocast slot but how exactly do they work? Do they cast the spell at every round or every turn?
How about the targets? Do they attack randomly?

Sell those items at maximum profit I recommend to get the "Postage Paid" hath perk as soon as possible too as you will be using the COD very much

You can only select some specific spells on the autocast slots, e.g. protection, haste, spark of life And the MP cost is divided by its active turns when normally casted, which becomes something like "Upkeep: 0.96 MP/round" The benefit is: 1.you don't waste time recasting them 2.The Upkeep cost reduces 10%/20%/more for each slot of autocast unlocked.

A couple of pointers: If you want to keep the spells active you have to make sure your MPs don't go below 10% of your total. Should it happen, you have to restore your MPs to at least 25% of your total to reactivate the autocasting. Use an Innate Arcana slot when its upkeep is lower than your "Magic Regen" / 15, otherwise you'll nib away at your MP pool turn after turn. This post has been edited by Hoheneim: Dec 5 2014, 09:41

if you have little credits, convert them to GP prior to download: 1C ~ 5GP, so it's like your money will get quintuplied QUOTE(Centifolia @ Dec 5 2014, 06:43) I am thinking of buying the autocast slot but how exactly do they work? Do they cast the spell at every round or every turn?
they simply keep a spell active, provided that you have enough MP at every turn. first slot is quite cheap, i suggest you to put haste on it

QUOTE(LostLogia4 @ Dec 5 2014, 21:39) Indeed, there is no "Shunkashuutou" where I live either. To make matter worse, my air-conditioner isn't quite in good shape either, so I have to sleep in sauna all night. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/faint.gif) Uh, I'd like to compliment about your place's tasty bitter champuru, but I might be wrong. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Anyway guess I won't move away from my dirty old kotatsu tonight either. Sigh, I'm starting to feel like an ojisan now.
