sure, but apart from the noodly it's still a way to try to convert tokens of blood into chaos tokens, so if one is more interested in long term investments rather than short ones he may want to go, for example, for unicorn horns rather than noodlies:
IPU: 3 token required -> 1 horns (12.5k) + 1 drop + 1 tokens (maybe)
vs.
FSM: 5 tokens required -> 1 noodly (35k) + 1 drop + 1 token

or you can think to use 15 ToB in those two ways, having back:

IPU: 5 runs -> 5 horns (62.5k from Yakamoz) + 5 drops + 5 tokens (maybe)
vs.
FSM: 3 runs -> 3 noodlies (96k from dani, since atomicpuppy is only temporary) + 3 drops + 3 tokens (almost sure)

mere credit spread is 33k between two cases (which means after 5 or 3 runs depending on the cases) but afterall tokens can't be bought, so now that noodlies price is falling...
the matter is only to judge whether IPU token chance is high enough to compensate that spread.

What is the best equip for light armor? 1h+shield looks ok, but i cant say its much better. Mostly i have ordinary exq with prot/defl.

In general DW Light.
On 2H, Mace + Light for novice users. Safe but slow due to absence of Penetrated Armor.

What I said for late arenas should be a bonus chance actually, stacking multiplicatively to the normal chance.

It's just a normal monster. I used to encounter it quite often about a year ago, when my level was lower. Maybe you know Blue Slime, Sperm Whale, Cocatrice, Manticore, etc.? All those were created by Tenboro. When the Monster Lab wasn't around, the game still needed monsters, you know.

All of those monsters were around before the Monster Lab so I don't think they have a trainer and class. It has been forever since I've encountered them however, so I can't check if those fields were retroactively filled in.

Ceiling Alligator was created after or with the Monster Lab, which is why it appears as a normal monster.

Which armor is generally considered better for light melee builds? Shade armor or Leather armor? (Or are they both balanced out by lack of piercing mitigation on shade and equip burden on leather?)

Dont know about gear, wiki says "For light melee Leather "of Protection" or Shade "of Fleet/Shadowdancer" gear and with the "Agile" prefix if you can get it.". But about proficiency u should not rly care. Exp gives much better. So between prof and exp u should choice second.

Btw. If u wanna some advice in exping so i d allocate few things.
1. Take max difficulte for u (use protection, haste, regen later for surviving).
2. It req many mana so u need more mana pots (btw, dont forget to use it). Even heroic cost only 30 credits.
3. Also its better to train max pot slots earlier. More pots - longer run - increasing difficulte - more exp.
