Let me warn you then. Good Buckler of Battlecaster (19% MC or higher + 22.5% or higher Block) is extremely rare. Even more than Leg grade Force Shields.

First time I've heard of that. Where did you get that info?

You are right, dark mages do have a 'bleeding' too. I use script to track the damage and it show ripened soul only deal 0.5%-1.5% of total damage commonly.

Bleeding and DOT are not suit for HV, in most of the fight, they can only deal 0-3 times of damage.

I suggest just remove bleeding and holy/dark DOT, and replace with ability that add a chance to do one-time instant damage, which works like cirtical attack.
