How do they make ends meet?

Scrolls are not need in most of the area. Scrolls are needed in GF @ IWBTH and PF only.

The price is normally in the range of 15c~20c per PxP. You can expect a price of 150k+ for an exq weapon. Some high level player may willing to do it at lower rate or free.

1. imo, in the current patch, you should shift to 1H instead of DW. Exq grade 1H stuff can be pretty cheap. Rapier/Emax shield for 100-150k, maybe cheaper if you shop around. Power slaughter stuff are more expensive, but Power balance/protection/warding are quite cheap (Exq ~20k, Mag ~50k, Leg ~100k).

2. generally, you shouldn't mix. Leather is for a more tanky build that sacrifice evade for PMI/MMI/Resist. Shade on the other hand focus on evade & more evade + some damage.

3. depends. Maxed Pack Rat first. if you don't have IA1/2 yet, it might be good to get them. if not, upgrading Lotd can be a pretty nice upgrade in the long run. Though, you have to balance buying gear to improve clear time Vs. permanent upgrades. Faster clear time essentially means more credits.

The price is normally in the range of 15c~20c per PxP. You can expect a price of 150k+ for an exq weapon. Some high level player may willing to do it at lower rate or free.

To unlock new spells, you need to reach a minimum player level and base proficiency in the appropriate category of magic. Looking at your screenshot, your Elemental proficiency is very low, so you don't meet that half of the requirement for higher tier elemental spells.

I don't recommend training Assimilator either. Mine is still at level 0. Any proficiencies that you regularly use will eventually hit the cap (your player level) on their own.

The gain rate of a proficiency is higher when its base and your player level are far apart, so it shouldn't take too long to grind your Elemental proficiency up to the requisite threshold. You shouldn't neglect your Deprecating proficiency either, since Deprecating spells are vital, especially Imperil, Weaken, Silence, and MagNet.

The wiki has all the details regarding training costs. Pack Rat costs 10k for lvl 1, 20k for lvl 2, etc. and 100k for lvl 10, which makes 540,000 credits to max out. Consider raising it to lvl 7 (280k in total) first if you don't want to spend that many credits.

Yes agreed it has level 1 and final level amounts stated but in between levels are IMPLIED to be calculated or managed by players’ themselves based upon their wallet capacity and other circumstances .for me its an un cool aspect if you are going to label it then make a separate spread sheet wiki page or attach external link and label for each training level the approx amount of credits needed so N00B players can be foarmed and forwarned before they trip themselves and start whinning and trolling the forums.

Scroll of Protection/Swiftness/Shadows are easier to sell to other players.

Don't worry too much about monsters at your level. They need to be like PL 750+ to get kills consistently, so...
If anything, try to get one to PL 200. But it shouldn't be a priority.

At your level, you should be able to afford a much higher difficulty. Doing arenas with DW may be one cause, but... Could you provide a screenshot of your ability screen?

Kyoko Hori is a good buyer in general.

I got 100+ proficiency with 2h and light armor, should i also train 1h? I saw many times this one strong. Or just stay with my current type? It allows to hit up to 7 mobs.
