my problem is that i have engaged in 3 random encounters each of which has thrown an abnormal amount of average to crude gear to me instead of usual crystal or cash or potion. I am asking this because there is 75% penalty of item giving reduction for playing at normal difficulty . and this crude average gear dropping is doing me no good sad to say.

I am using a Mag lvl club and Exq lvl rapier for dw style proficiency gain. Does this have to do with the abnormal drop rate of items. [i have 1 point quarter master 0 point archaeologist 6 point scavenger]

afaik the amount of low-grade drops should be due to low difficulty and low levels of luck of the draw. nothing to do with (quality of) the gear you use. if you feel like being able to do it, try to do REs at hell or at least nightmare difficulty to get rid of that difficult penalty. don't bother with luck of the draw yet, crude to average will continue to drop even at dovahkiin levels range and with LotD 18 if it helps you. and besides, at the moment you need credits for other and more important things
btw, balance is ok suffix for offhand, but vampire not so much for a main hand, slaughter would be better. unless the vampire one has really nice stun chance and PAB, that is (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Also please wiki link me the equations regarding above problem [effect of weapon qualtiy on reward generation] if possible or do i need to revisit loot drop rates wiki page . (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)

this and that are what is known about that matter at the moment. on the second page you can find also the influence of training levels. but as i said, don't bother too much with those things yet. use your credits for Adept Learner, Pack Rat and Ability Boost (the last only if your own AP aren't enough to cover all abilities) instead and focus on leveling to unlock more rewarding arenas

why shouldn't it be legal? because you're using mag club? there are always been users who found patrons willing to loan them "higher-tier-than-their-level" gear (i'm loaning a really nice shield from colman atm for example (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) ) and others who don't know / are too proud to take advantage of it. you did it, good for you (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

a) Unless you see something reeeeeeeeally shiny in an auction or a shop. Then again, you need learn to see what "shiny" means. I still don't, which explains the useless equips I bought for fire-sale prices.
b. Increase difficulty for better equips/items/exp
c) Increase Luck of the Draw for better equips
d) 1H and power armor may work better for survivability after reaching ~175. It's much slower than 2H or DW.
d) Be a fucking moron and item world before reaching 200, maybe you'll find a Peerless weapon just like me(DO NOT FUCKING DO THIS)

a) don't, and i really mean DON'T bother with auctions at low levels. go there if you want to look at something nice, but don't bid. you may empty your wallet even before realizing it.

c) some levels, since the first ones are cheap anyways. but again, don't bother with it too much at lv130
d) did plenty of IWs and never found a peerless. heck, i barely found some mag cotton (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) also, do it only if you don't have anything other to do, at lv130 is quite unlikely to have worthy gear


side question from me: is it only my impression or in these days celestials are growing like mushrooms? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

I used data from the wiki to make a chart of the required exp depending on the level.

The slope decreases at the beginning until lvl 177 where it starts to increase. The increase starts to be noticable around lvl 300. Keep in mind that the scale of the Y axis is logarithmic.

1. Many reasons why you shouldn't worry:
- 3 REs is a too small sample
- your level of luck of the draw is probably low
- you are playing on normal (difficulty affects equipment drop quality)
- the 75% drop reduction only kicks in if you do a LOT of rounds at low difficulty

2. The quality of the gear you are using doesn't affect the quality of the equipment drops.

It's likely. Celestials are a hard counter to 1H/power thanks to their incredible magical power.

on a side note, that growth isn't exactly fixed, as i said: its value is 4%/level around lv300 and 6%/level at both lv50 and lv500, and meanwhile it behaves like a parabola (you can clearly see it in your graph). in proportion we may say that lv300 and around are the easiest to raise since the growth ratio is minimum (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/duck.gif)

just did a 58 rounds IW, it's possible to do it with 3 MP in the worst case. and 3-4 cure in a round if it's full of celestials. nothing unbearable

No, you only lose stamina when clearing a round.

I barely never play 1h hence i can't judge either it's good or bad. So, not so bad? Not sure about their chaos upgrades either since they just show up recently.

want to give you guys an update i got deprecating to 40 and elemental to 150 just maxed out silence upgrades i dont think ill be getting archmage or tempest(4) i will wait till level 300 to upgrade tempest.

so i just saw a figurine on bazaar for 50k tempted to buy it but i dint are they worth more that 50k? it stayed there for like a minute did i made a mistake not buying it? lmao

Not good. I tried nintendofest yesterday and i reached round 250ish before fleeing - with full shards + cold infusion, no scrolls, & used 7ish mana pots.
If my estimation is right i can do hellfest safely, wanna try it next weekend.
