I've got two meh-tier rapiers picked up for dirt-cheap, and I'm planning to IWmax one of them (yes, I'm aware I probably shouldn't, shame on me). Which one should I choose?

It all depends on your needs. The dark one for SG; The cold one + flame spike shield for normal play.

I'd choose the dark one if I were you, coz you probably won't use either of the rapiers when you reach higher level, and a Lv.10 Exq demonic slaughter rapier can sell at a higher price than an arctic counterpart.

Well.. I am using v37. Comparing to v28 it was 1.33 t/s difference..
Ofcourse you can install userscripts direcly, it is chrome afterall. It is actually advised to do so. As i mentioned tempermonkey/greasemonkey slow you down.

I do not understand that. For me agility seems pretty useless stat. It only gives 0.5 physical mitigation and evade which is from start reduced by heavy gear.
On the other hand wisdom gives 0.5 magical mitigation and mana, mana regeneration.

I also do not undestand this:
Every point above the player's level increases attack speed by (10%/level)
The attack speed increases from AGI is capped at 10%.

Does it mean that if i have 304 lvl.. at 305 agility i get full bonus 10% or how does it work.. Does it even count agility from items? Anyway it still suck for heavy

I treat stats this way:
endurance = strenght = dexterity > wisdom > agility > intelligence
339 = 339 = 338 > 327 > 315 > 280

Is it good?


2. How do you do A Dance with Dragons?
- I just did it on hell. And it was really worrysome. That is.. potions.
Till around round 80 i did not use any potion, i run out of spirit pretty fast but since killing still wasn't that slow i continued without spirit and with focus.
Then i started using potions. At 150 i was out of spirit potions. (i had 5)
Perhaps it is better to do it with dual? But then spirit consumption will still be huge. Maybe i should not use spirit shield..

Yes, WIS > AGI for 1H Heavy in general.
But I just equally distribute all stats 1:1:1:1:1:1 since I'm too lazy and could switch into mage setting whenever I want without changing stats.
Especially for high level melee, a careful stat distribution is almost meaningless, though. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

(AGI - level) / level * 0.1 is attack speed bonus from AGI without burden, capped 10%.
For example if you have 500 AGI at 350 level with 0 burden you will get
(500 - 350) / 350 * 0.1 = 4.3% attack speed bonus.

Not bad. Again, I think 1:1:1:1:1:1 is also not bad actually for high level users in this game.
INT for melee and STR for mage can be an exception, though.

1. Level up to 350+ at least to easily beat it as a melee. As 1H, my friend cleared DwD PFUDOR for the first time at around 340-mid level without using Focus.
2. If you're 1H get best shield and forge its block 20~25 times.
3. Get best 5 power slaughter armors you can get.
4. Use holy/dark rapier (or/with) holy/dark infusion.
5. Get OFC and use it after SG shows up.
6. Use Spirit Theft which helps you balancing MP and SP.

Just test iron v37 for a while, the speed is more or less the same as v27. I use portable version btw.
I will try how well can it be in long run. If the speed are same, I think I will switch to the v37.

P.S. so far the slowest script is the anti-virus/anti-spy-ware script. If I turn them off, other scripts do not make much different (excluding HVstat full version).

Until they do. It always happens, because tenboro has an incessant need to "balance" everything. No one used to use 1H, add Force shields and now it's the latest fad. LG was completely dead for several years, and now it's not. If you go far enough back, there was even a time when everyone used heavy and no one used mage.

So basically, you shouldn't be surprised if leather gets a major buff in the near future.

Also, 1H and mage are still good, yet HGM,HGC,HGW price are all falling. I doubt even buffing light would give HGL any significant price boost

marginal profit of B is 50/1550=3.2% way too small to make sense, not to mention HGL has very low liquidity due to low demand.

Counter-Parry: Your chance to ignore monster's parry against your attack.

i'd go for the dark one, regardless of its elemental strike. it has a way better PA chance and END may serve you in some way if you go 1H, surely better than STR. both of them have low parry though, so don't expect you would sell them for high in case you will do it

I believe there is/was a shop selling it at 39k, but I can't find it any more.
