Oh neat; I totally overlooked this. Disabled every plugin in Iron. Although I wonder if it will help. Iron was already fast before; I guess I'll find out tomorrow.

Please do report as I don't use Iron myself (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)
The reason I metioned the plugins is that I saw a Japanese tetris player using Iron break his personal best record of 40-line mode after disabling all plugins except Flash and tweaking the browser.

Old record: 31.xx seconds
New record: 29.20 seconds (a great improvement)

Iron 28 is too old. You could try tampermonkey legacy. I had it with Iron 27 and it worked...

Why do you need Tampermonkey? Chrome and its derivatives have native support for user scripts. If you're using a browser exclusively for HV and nothing else then you may as well keep it as lean as possible. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)

just curious, does chrome allow to use different profiles with different setup/scripts each as firefox?

1. How do melee fighter solve the spell accuracy problem? It's sad when I cast Silence and see "Your spell fails to conect" twice.

2. Is counter-parry on offhand weapon effective?

Your WIS is too low as hentai_fusion said. You can try changing armors too. Shade of the Arcanist give pretty nice accuracy. Mind you, it's weaker than fleet/shadowdancer...

They have to be related to your playstyle. Your weapon and armor?

Let me ask what browser do you use to play on linux now? im intrested in this because i used to play w/ older version of iron on windows, but cannot find it on linux, and the newer ones as well as chrome flickers/blinking so much, and you know its very annoying especially when you play as a mage and monsters die very quickly
I also tried old versions of chrome [google-chrome.en.uptodown.com] here but they all blinking (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif)

for every player top priorities are the three tanks - they are very good! - and the better pots of the type they use (at your level i guess better hp and better mp)
then comes the ones relative to your playstyle: 2h damage and 2h accuracy for the weapon, light hp/mp, crit and acc for the armor
finally the spells: which ones do you use? those are the ones you should invest with, but as a first hint i suggest you at least supportives like cure, protection, haste, shadow veil. regen and spark if you already use them

note that for an ability to be actually used you should both assign AP on it and slot on the Mastery Points section; also, with levels you'll unlock new abilities and new levels of the existing ones: be sure to check from time to time and to unlock new slots (if needed) with mastery points. also, if you're short on AP you can train a few of them

further infos here. on this other page you can also see at which level the next update will become available

Well, not really. This is just right for melee. As I said before, either you put more points in it or you change your armor in favor of arcanist shade (only melee armor granting WIS bonus).

You may try WineHQ+Iron if you really wanna use Iron under Linux;
not sure if the latest Iron will run using this method, though.
Replacing Chrome with Chromium is also feasible.
If you want a super slim browser and feel okay even if it's kinda featureless, give Midori a shot.
Midori (meaning "green" in Japanese) is suepr fast and is WebKit-based just like Chrome.
As for myself, I had used Firefox and toyed with endless open source browsers on Arch Linux and Gentoo just for fun.
For now I use Iceweasel (rebranded Firefox) on Debian Sid and tete009 (personal-built Firefox) on WinXP.
Just wanna tell those who are interested in personal/community-builds of Firefox, tete009 runs faster than Pale Moon on my crappy laptop.
