You can invest 42 pts into HP/MP tanks and leave the 8th tier clear (6 freed pts), you can fill them up later as you level to 80. You can probably skip Tier 1 Holy entirely if you're short on points, and just focus on strengthening your 2 main elements (Fire & Elec) for maximum damage. It's your bread and butter, and should take precedence above all else (even HP/MP tanks, imo). I'm not sure how effective Holy will be if it's not maxed out, but it seems like a luxury atm. Most of the spells in the 5 pt deprecating/supportive spell column I've only invested 1 pt in (except Weaken) to test them out. I'm *pretty* sure they don't get stronger the more points you put in, just longer durations (feel free to correct me here). They definitely don't get cheaper MP-wise. You won't be using many of them in normal grindfest/IWs anyway (besides Weaken), only Bosses, and a few points in Slow goes a long way to making all the other debuffs on the Boss stick longer (counters only tick down when the monster performs an action, I get ~4 turns per tick with 1 pt Haste & 1 pt Slow). I've never used Sleep and Poison (just got it), though it should make Boss fights even easier. It's nice knowing you don't have to go full-blown 5 pts per spell to get a situational ability up to scratch. Cure, Shield & Regen are a must. I'd skimp on the scroll & infusion slots, you won't need them until you start facing Legendary monsters and I find they're overkill for Bosses. The best thing about level 70 is the Chain Lightning (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) This post has been edited by Ballistic9: Feb 15 2011, 20:50

The best thing about level 70 is the Chain Lightning (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Supportives Spell get cheaper MP-wise because they last longer (the duration almost doubles) so you don't have to recast them so often. Imo is every point in the supportives or deprecating better then points in MP tanks (and almost every point in mp tanks is better than HP tanks). Bewilder is a good spell aginainst bosses but Sleep is useless in most cases.

Long-term I'd agree, but at this current level I'd say 5 pt Shadow Veil / Haste is wasted. You rarely if ever use them in grindfest/IW and for bosses you re-cast them once or twice (1 pt ver). Haste is really useful for training proficiencies atm, but long-term action speed caps and becomes redundant. Long way until that happens, but I'm trying to keep my respec cost low. I haven't really found a use for Sleep / Confuse, but I suppose they might be useful if you're fighting more than one boss at once (again, way in future).

You maybe right, but i think a point in hp tank is more wasted because they do not increase you staying power except against boss or legendaries (no better healing). I use Haste most of the time except in the IW but Shadow Veil is optional, it is better in the later levels.

"Cure, Shield & Regen are a must. I'd skimp on the scroll & infusion slots, you won't need them until you start facing Legendary monsters and I find they're overkill for Bosses. The best thing about level 70 is the Chain Lightning" Well, I have not done well against the bosses of late, looking bad every time. I usually run into them when I am low on items. I have also been doing some cake IW time to my longsword just in case. Thanks for the info and ideas everyone. I don't think so. If you are warrior with malee attack or not thunder mage, You should be put your AP to other Ability. This post has been edited by purng: Feb 16 2011, 06:40

Agreed, but he's speccing mage. Personally it's really helped me since the resist change, the difference between level 69 and 70 are like night and day. I find Meteor/Purge just don't cut it as openers for me, I get too many partial/binary resists.

Why? I don't think any points at mp tank more than 18AP=54% extra mana=2 extra second wind is useful. second wind, mana potion, mana gems are all based on your base mp. There are only 2 possiblity to use Large MP tank: mana exilir burners and arena runners. I think each HP tanks is better than MP tanks for mage. after 150 Floors in IW/GF, how many cirts hits I can take from enemy is the biggest problem... of course if you have enough AP, putting them into both MP and HP would be even better (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Is is just like other trophys and only have the bouns in the quality grade? I believe so, I don't think it has any effect on the potential suffix that's given, just the grade as already mentioned.

I'd assume so. Your best bet is there.

Sadly no. Though being a magnificent makes it somewhat valuable in and of itself. It's not like he'll take a loss from buying it from the bazaar. It's very possible to sell a magnificent for more than 100k.
