Kay', I forgot that you are running at <IWBTH difficulty, so OFC will almost always one-shot all mobs without PA. .__.

And yes, if Nimble/Slaughter/Balance doesn't work, you can always go Swiftness with better Attack Speed since it syncs well with Phase, that has 0 burden.

Do not use Swiftness for hybrid mage as it only increase melee speed. Nimble or battlecaster are always better. Also, PA is useless in this case. On the other hand, stun is very useful. Because it allow you to recover mp when there is only one mobs left.

Battlecaster is always better true, but Swiftness can be good if you're desperate to charge up OC with fast attack speed.

Also, if there's only one mob left and your OFC's cooldown is expired, it's always better not to use Focus to regenerate mp, and carry the overcharge to launch OFC on the next round.

And when your OFC's on cooldown, wait for enough mobs to be stunned from Counter Attack to be safe to use Focus.

When you can abuse your Counter Attack well enough, you don't really need that stun from a Club.

Well the post in script thread 2 days ago was his last posts, and he hasn't been active since. What's troubling is that his title is "anti-social suicide", interest is "my death" and his avatar is a suicidal (and very depressed) character who was about to hang himself (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif)

don't know what shield you're using. force shield can be good, because of higher block, but that interference can be bad. though, i could lend you this buckler of nimble if you want to try things out a bit.

Yup, "just" 30%...

It's half your base SP, actually, so it would be 50% without SP tank.

i don't know the exact answer but you may want to try Scrolls of Life: they need only 25% of your base SP, leave you with 50% max HP and last for 45 rounds. plus, nowadays they should cost less than 250c each (source)

Depending on your SP tank tier, iirc each tier adds 10% to the final max SP, so yeah, it's 30% for me cuz I had mine maxed at Tier 7.
At Tier 10 it would be 25% instead, but you have to be at Level 450 to get it.
SoL Cost Calculation = 0.50% SP/(1 + 0.1*SP Tank tier)

You didn't really explain how 1H or DW are better than 2H so I'm gonna have to guess: 1H with its shield has block and DW has higher damage vs 2H? "While stunned mobs unable to dodge, but the one that aren't, can." This applies to the 1H club as well. "At higher level/difficulty, the mob will have high mitigation too. Even PA using Estoc won't help because of evade and parry from mobs.
" So DW for the higher damage with 2 slaughters vs a single slaughter 2H? I can see the advantage of having a club with stun and a rapier with penetrated armor for the massive damage.

Also lol I just noticed yesterday there's a WTB buying obsolete items for top credit so I'm constantly checking to see what's happening with that (5 PAB!) Exquisite Kevlar I sold you. I'm staring at that INT bonus now wondering how much MP it could have given me. That PMI isn't bad either.

You might be jumped a bit early, but the good general advice to fast leveling is play on highest difficulty possible. And with 1H, that can be done earlier than other playstyle.


The Kevlar. I'm collecting old obsolete stuff myself lol. Just notice animeai's "Want To Buy Obsolete Collectables Top prices paid!" I don't think I can get top price for the Kevlar. It obsolete but not really rare. Keeping that Kevlar to myself for now.
