Hi guys, i have a question how much do i have to train luck of the draw to get good exquisites and magnificents otfen?

I'd say 20-22, I have 15 and I get loads of crappy sup, around 15 exquishits per 3 days and a mag every 3 weeks (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif)

and yes, I'm currently saving to train more because it's getting depressing (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

LotD 10 here, I get Averages every 3 rounds or so, Superiors really often, get an Exquisite every two days, and precisely one Magnificent drop ever. Though I'm wearing http://hentaiverse.org/pages/showequip.php...;key=db1a2aad13 this, which dropped for me way back when.

How do I get Drain to activate Ether/Spirit Drain? I have Spirit Drain learned and it is in my purple slot in the ability page.

Edit: As for drops, I just got LotD to 13 but I found all these at around 10-12.

You just need to cast Smite for soul fire or Corruption for ripened soul (if your proficiency is that low) and slot the corresponding ability + the Ether or Spirit theft ability.
Divine magic => Soul Fire => Ether theft
Forbidden magic => Ripened Soul => Spirit theft
Though it would be better to raise proficiency to get at least T2 spells because chances of proc are around 4% for T1 spells...

For mag
19+ if you're doing stuffs on PFUDOR (80% of them will come from T&T and SG arena)
24+ if you're doing stuffs on Hell (I could get 1-2 mag per Hellfest run)


Sturgeon's laws apply. 99% of the mag dropps will be trash

I'd say 20 is the magic number where you should switch your focus to gearing up for PFUDOR SG, and 23 is where you should focus on getting crys1,2 and doing Hellfest.

keep if you plan on going 1H power otherwise attempt to sell. you might get lucky

you probably need a better weapon or a better shield. perhaps both since they're both kinda meh. or just lower the difficulty.

Make sure you have both Spirit Shield and Spark of Life. When you reach level 285 you can opt to stop using Spark. It's very hard to die in 1H + Light if you play correctly, and you're more likely to run out of MP/SP potion first. If you want more detailed advice, copy here battle log of the last 4-5 turns before your death.

FYI, Hell monster (Celestial, particularly) can still one shot me if I forget to Spirit Shield, though it's extremely unlikely.
