Good luck in finding a Slaughter Rapier with ExMax+ WD - you are going to need it. Chances are, if you were to find one, it would most likely be a high level Magnificent which will set you back even more than the one you are passing on. You still have to have it IW'ed and there is no guarantee that you will get Butcher 5 on it to surpass this one's WD. You may end up wasting 50+ Amnesia Shards and 50 runs of IW, paying for all that will set you back well past 1M credits. On the other hand, if you were to sink 5 Binding of Slaughter into this one (c. 1M credits), you would be farther ahead as far as WD is concerned vs the pipe dream Magnificent Slaughter Rapier with Butcher 5 on it.

If you're referring to the mag tempetuous rapier in D Auction, then it's actually not such a good deal with its incredibly low parry chance (Sup-2 even with forge). It's fine if you're just using it as is, but dumping binding of slaughter into it is just a waste.

Just get VV (500 Hath) and you will have a whooping 19k HP, add in about 10 level of juggernaut in your armor and you will have 21k HP (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

It could be. It makes sense for PMi. OTOH, I can't really wrap my head around the MMi part.

As you can see in wiki, MMI value of power warding of is much highter than PMI of power protection.
And generally (or just for my case) it seems that power armor can have strangely better roll on MMI (than other stats) regardless of suffix. It's just my thoughts, though.

That's normal for force shield + power user

Usually, it should be the other way around.

It's most likely because my Gauntlets and Boots (all my equipments on use are in my signature) have higher MMI roll than usual. Commonly I'd be having ~4% more PMI but due to their roll I'm having ~4% more MMI just becuz of these two buddies.

And the main "culprit" for this is my Warding Shield.

Together they give like ~6% more MMI and ~6% LESS PMI than usual. Mere prediction though. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

It's natural for Heavy + Force Shield. But I actually like it since huge mana consumption can proc Channeling Effect so often.

And IMO if you feel your defense is too low, mix one plate protection with good PMI is not a bad idea at your level.
Especially for legendary shielding plate protection with near lmax PMI and mmax+ block.
FYI I think gauntlet is the best slot for it by looking wiki's "shielding" value.

So I mean "before seeking leg force shield, seeking the leg shielding plate protection may be a good option, if possible."

Seems legit.

Because legendary plate mixes very well with power of protection/slaughter (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

But sooner or later I'd have to go full Power Slaughter anyway so I'd stick to my current set. I might be planning ahead a little too far but who knows I'd have to switch to Holy Mage pass 400 to run things fast. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/duck.gif)
