Well regexp makes string manipulation a breeze. No need for all those annoyingly confusing and implemetation dependent concat/replace/append (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

Also, Im a vi/vim user, no reason (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/duck.gif)

Though I prefer actual IDE like Netbeans or Eclipse, so refactoring, autocomplete, and linking are more intuitive

IMO, Eclipse is good for simple code in MS Wondows only, while Qt creator is better in every other area.
But Qt creator is too heavy for most of the task.

Seriously speaking, I think 310 level is the least condition for maging because Imperil has 0 cooldown at thr level.

Anyway, be sure to tell him that mages are gonna be pain in the ass between Level 150 until Level 310 at least.

Never did the math on the forge, so I'll take for granted your numbers

100 -> 67%

50 -> 35.8%

the difference between 100 and 50 would be 31.2%, not 17%.

Unless I'm missing your point entirely and you were referring to something else.

Yeah is a good piece of equipment, but shileding prefix or power armor are better (and expensive) and it would be better with "of protection" suffix for Physical Mitigation instead of Slashing Mitigation, it haves 3 PABs, but 4 PABs is the maximum,and it has nice Endurance.

So it would be an average good, you surely can get a better one.

I'm not sure but if 10B loves some "exact" number, I guess it maybe like this:
Non-ADB/MDB 25 = 25.00%, 50 = 35.00%
ADB/MDB 50 = 50.00%, 100 = 66.67%

That formula between 0.2 * ln(0.1 * forging_level + 1) and 0.195 * ln(0.1 * forging_level + 1) on Non-ADB/MDB,
while between 0.28 * ln(0.1 * forging_level + 1) and 0.279 * ln(0.1 * forging_level + 1) on ADB/MDB.
But only 10B knows the accurate formula. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

And about maximizing the forge upgrade... I think it deserves if the equip is decent.

Dunno about mace. Did Estoc til 150 or so, swapped to 1H and cleared everything loads faster.

Might just be that 2H has trouble with REs. Estoc felt strong enough (but not incredible) in arena.

Hi guys, any advice for playing as an ele mage? I am currently 184 and can beat random encounters at battletoads about 60% of the time. What should I be doing to level and get better equips? Got a bunch of stuff from the free shop, but I really have no idea what I should be doing.

Also, how exactly do you beat those bosses in ring of blood with 95% ele res. I tried fighting real life and got my ass kicked, then found pretty much all the bosses after have 95% ele res.
