When I'm level 1 to about 90, I use high bleed 2H and high absorption heavy armor. Think it way easy

your interference might be too high...

any tips on beating IPU?

tried it yesterday with 5 godly mp pots, 6 mp elixir, infusion, scroll of gods and avatar, 79.7% holy mitigation gear and 32% ET 2 turn katalox of destruction staff...

but ran out of mp when IPU is down to 10% hp...

i have some doubts

i'm wondering how to spend my ap and aura points

auras: already maxed indigo and yellow, i have green, red and orange.. i just can't decide between violet and blue
should i go for more damage and soul rating (violet) or getting the blue for more mana and better defence from spells ?

in this decision enter even my next spells choice: soul or dark? soul are less expensive than dark and can be improved through violet aura, but dark will give me some extra mit against FSM

so what you think?

For some reason my Paint program isn't working, so I'll have to resort to posting the numbers manually...

I've read a couple pages of the thread so far, and gotten some info on the difficulty (read: BALLS HARD) of going pure tank as opposed to other things, which is leading me to consider switching once I have the ability to safely.

In the meantime, can someone give me an idea of how far behind I am on the road to improving my stats, and which I should start focusing on? I gathered that I should probably focus heavily on AGI as well as WIS, but I'm not sure to what extent I'm behind the curve to be efficient enough.

CHARACTER STATS:

STR 35 +3 +1

DEX 27 +4

AGI 26 +1

END 29

INT 0

WIS 20

EQUIPMENT:

MAIN HAND: Average Axe of Slaughter (13/ Bleed)

OFFHAND: Average Bronze Rapier of Slaughter (13/Penetrate)

HELMET: Fine Cotton Cap of Warding

BODY:

HANDS:

LEGGINGS: Crude Leather Leggings of Protection (19)

FEET: Fair Leather Boots of the Thunder-Child (14)

you should go for melee, your stats are fine

you should get some heavy armor till level 40-50, then switching to dragonhide/kevlar because you will use more spells and you will need a lower interference

get weapons with balance suffix

do not go maging before level 80

I see... in any case, I know I'll be lessening my focus on DEX for a while, since the effects it grants aren't as varied or immediate as they are with STR, AGI, END, and WIS.

I'll be on the lookout for lower-burden heavy armor if possible, since I do keep an active account of my burden. Even though it turned out (I believe) that the punishment is really only 50% of how many points above 20 you are, I still value not being sacked twice per monster per turn for obvious reasons...

So at 80 I should begin pumping EXP into INT then, correct? I figure around then is when I'd finally do an AP reset, because right now everything is going into +EXP, HP Tank, and whatever permanent modifiers (Aura) or special skills (Cure, Shield) are available at the time.

don't leave aside dex
at your level your attacks are really imprecise and dex helps

Huh... is that so? My apologies then for the inaccurate assumption, I just know from the guide that Acc only increases by 1% for every 25 points, which seems relatively farfetched for a single increase.

By any chance, would you happen to have an idea of what's a good stat ratio to train by until Level 80 (when maging starts)? As in, Out of every 10-20 increases or so, how many should go to STR/DEX/AGI/END/WIS respectively (again, this is assuming INT gets left at 0 until Level 80+)?

Don't feel compelled or obligated to answer, but I immensely appreciate all the tips and help given so far. I've already gone about purchasing Balance weapons from the Bazaar that should serve me well, but every little extra piece of info is duly noted. Thanks for the help.

EDIT: I've released after looking again that most of the benefit I'm looking for from WIS is available much more readily from END, so I'll very likely be lessening my focus on WIS to put more into END for now. Still, my question about the potential EXP spending ratio stands.

Personally I I'm not a big fan of Silence up to my 120 lvl as monster starts to kick me like horse when I silence them (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif). I prefer Weaken + Bewilder up to this point.

this the advice i get when i am around your level, the advice is few posts below... and is easier when you want to transition to mage later (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

https://forums.e-hentai.org/index.php?showt...mp;#entry603582

hope it helps... and imo don let your wis lag to far behind, without wis means without mana = death

I see... so fill out Weaken, and then either focus on MP tank or save up for Haste in a little while; I've got a *lot* of points in EXP Boost, since right now I don't think 3% bonus to 50 MP would do very much, so I'll probably go the latter route.

END and STR first, followed by AGI and DEX...WIS I can just keep at 2/3ds my level (Level 30 = 20 WIS, level 40 = 26, etc.)

Shield is something I'll just have to build over time through constant use, but it's good to know that info anyway.

Does this all sound about right? I know it seems redundant posting what might essentially be the same thing, but getting confirmation that I'm on the right track helps a great deal.

yes, that is what i did, but i think is best you ignore haste cos at the new system you can obtain scroll slot very early and use scrolls of haste, so don waste your ap for haste.. ap is very expensive when you reach higher levels..

and imo weaken is a must, and HP and MP tanks is a must (and cure).. keep you grinding longer.. weaken can be use for mini bosses if you encounter during grinding

and poison is necessary when you are fighting bosses cos it slows MP and Spirit regen of the boss...

hope this helps.. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Today I firstly try RL with SC of avatar + silence + poison + haste + SV + regen.

I got hit around 300 but I can't wait only my bleed proc.(and hit only 200)
I give up after around 200 turn with his hp around 170000 from 190000 and my item seem is not close to be enough. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

How to win against him ???

Indeed, I've been looking for a use for the Scroll slot I unlocked, so I can look for Swiftness scrolls to purchase and start putting them to use as long as it doesn't get too expensive.

I'll likely hit the AP Reset once I hit level 50, and start placing everything from EXP boost into MP Tank instead - right now my reset cost is only around 263 credits (Only reset once at very beginning), but I know it's going to skyrocket once I use it again, so I've been holding off as long as possible.

Poison can wait, since I don't feel like facing bosses anytime soon, but I'll definitely go ahead and apply some points into Weaken when I get the chance.

Thanks for the assistance!

your welcome, come back anytime when you are planning to transition to mage... and frm here the real fun begins.

few benefits of doing mage... (for the current release)
- kill crap monsters will a single click even mini boss..
- doing arena easily and get free credits...
- grinding for long hours without getting killed (if you are good enough even without pots)
- etc..

have fun...
