At your level you should be able to unlock the Destined title once you clear the Level 140 arena challenge. That gives +8% damage and +2% evade.

Hmm, with a hallowed staff I'd say anything but Archmage potency goes (unless if you have a Destruction staff). Personally I prefer Penetrator -> Spellweaver -> Economizer -> Annihilator & Archmage.

can we do a test drive to hit one mob and count damage - would that be fair (like - is damage from spells are randomized if not resisted or something?) - wanna try hitting trio and tree one day with one staff and other day with another staff - or spaghetti guy


what is that magic score script thing people talk about and why is it so much better than human thinking?

cuz wiki advice says elemental staff is better than destruction one if you use just spells of one element. - is it fully true?

that kind of opinion comes with Crystkat-kun (crystminers) really, what with doing hundreds if not thousands of rounds.

It calculates you magic scores after the EDBs and tells you which one is the most powerful staff around? I dunno, you gotta ask the scriptwriters and other mages for that.

Mainly because you can do away with binding of destruction's in favor of bindings of heimdalls I think...?

If you can finish grindfests or PFUDOR SG arenas without Ether Tapping, then yes, you can indeed not care about Economizer.

If not, then Economizer 5 is the best.

Personally, I prefer having a Focus staff and IW it for Spellweaver than to buy an overly expensive Destruction staff. Still looking for a Mag+ Hallowed Oak Staff of Focus, haven't seen one in an equip shop or auction yet.

Magic Score is the indicator showing pure firepower.
You can calculate your Magic Score manually for yourself like this:

First, let's say "Base Power" = MDB * (1 + EDB/100)
Magic Score = (Base Power * (1 - crit/100)) + (Base Power * crit/100 * (1 + crit dmg bonus/100))

For ignoring the exact crit dmg bonus (= 50%), the simplied fomula would be
MDB * (1 + EDB/100) * (1 + crit/200)

"MDB" is already counting your stats like WIS and INT.

I have nothing towards maging, how hard is it to dark mage? I've been thinking about doing it since my drops ended up with a lot o fenrir stuff.

Just install the Magic Score script and use it to compare the final score. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
The higher, the better, of course.
But remember, as I said Magic Score shows the pure firepower. It does not show other things like the cast speed, MC, and defensive stats.
