QUOTE(LOL50015 @ May 13 2014, 16:41) Okay, so I just spent 300 hath on Multi page viewer and although reading doujins are now more enjoyable, I still have this bad feeling that I compromised my HV career because I could have done lots of training and bought lots of bindings, crystals and a Leg for that money. What excuse can I use to justify my spending from a HV player perspective? (IMG:[ www.vocaloidotaku.net] http://www.vocaloidotaku.net/public/style_emoticons/vocaloid/Mimi.gif) I still dont have it, cos I doggie bag everything. Im considering getting Tag Flagging now, just to make my porn searching easier (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) This post has been edited by holy_demon: May 13 2014, 12:19

QUOTE(LostLogia4 @ May 13 2014, 18:11) You can counteract the HA burden with high HA proficiency back then? I had no idea... (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) Also, I remember that Twilight-kun said something like making the gears with elementalist suffix viable again, so I assume that elemental, divine and forbidden prof was more useful back then (instead of acting as tier spell barriers like it was now), what kind of stat boost they give back then anyways? Magic proficiency give 0.5% magic damage per point. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Making magic is the only way to play. They have level^3 damage.

Proficiency used to contribute directly to damage. I think the divisor was /200. It contributed less to damage than EDB though. In fact, way way back, EDB used to unintentionally count twice. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) This post has been edited by n125: May 13 2014, 13:09

What photo viewer are you using anyway? And is it me or does leggings drop the most among shade things? This post has been edited by LOL50015: May 13 2014, 13:25

finally, did Eternal Darkness @PF. it took ~1.5hrs, and i got 20k credits + this. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/anime_cry.gif) i'd barely survive til the end & used all potions (10MP +3 SP). Haste/SS/Regen/Heartseaker always on. didn't use SV or Sol to save mp. thanks, for everyone's advice & the ones that sold me Haths for VV. VV really helps on saving spirit shield SP consumption + less likely to use cure. the SG crits still takes 60-80sp + 20%HP. though, i can't imagine reliably/regularly doing Eternal Darkness @PF. i guess non-forged gear can only take you this far with VV. also, low cold & dark mitigation aren't helping. Stats: 46.9 % Fire 15.2 %Cold 18.6 %Elec 8.0 %Wind 19.4 %Holy 11.5 %Dark

(IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) i'm still rocking an Emax non-forged shield. haven't upgraded anything in about a month. it doesn't apply for almost every combination i'd say. don't know if multiplicators are actually different, but i think having holyproof 5 or (darkproof 3 + coldproof 2) - just two examples - isn't so easy as well (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) QUOTE(LOL50015 @ May 13 2014, 13:24) What photo viewer are you using anyway?
ACDSee 9. a bit old, but that's the last italian localized version available. i think i'll switch to XnView with next format though... QUOTE(malkatmp @ May 13 2014, 13:47) <snip>

thanks for the offer, but i think i'm not going to forge/buy anything for now. even if i've forged my current emax shield, it won't be good enough to do 3rd SG@PF. i'll probably need a MMax shield. also, i don't really hv the patience to sit down for 1.5hrs to do the 2nd SG, the third will be even longer. though, if you need credits, cruelsion is currently buying them @27.5k and often enough, people will be buying them @30k in WTB section. i'll probably try to do DwD@BT this weekend to get Dovahkiin. QUOTE(LostLogia4 @ May 12 2014, 22:15) All because of high pricing for phazons, which could be better spent on acquiring better phases, so I might as well save up all my phazons for later if i acquire some. I'll have to make do with IW potencies until then I guess... (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) You want at least magnificent phase with mag max EDB good evade and three pabs with good wisdom and intelligence as the minimum for forging. Even then I've never put more than five phason on a magnificent item. Magic specialisation choice is quite important in terms of affordability and utility (though that could change in a single patch) Dark - prices have crashed, in the past it used to be prohibititively expensive but good staffs can go for a fortune still Holy - currently the most popular, it can be tricky and expensive to build right as there are a few choices Wind - Best element at SG marathons, good resist profile, possibly the most popular all round element Ice - Nice debuff, good resist profile, fairly constant popularity Fire - Good defensive debuff, gear was quite common except for staffs only moderately popular. Electric - Worst resist profile but strong against giants and mechanoids also only offensive elemental debuff. The fad of being popular may be wearing off its been dumped by a lot of top mages.

just tried it, it works fine, but a bit laggy. maybe restart browser/computer?
