How much level+heavy armor forging do you need to reach over 90% PMI and MMI anyways?

Like today's Phase/Shade. Except the average drop rates back then were low. Very low.

PMI calculations got changed and capped. END used to give more PMI.

You know, people who wear robes made of T-shirt material and then needs to perform fancy ritual and chants to make a spell work, people who spent too much time with books and physically weak and don't have good reflexes.

Mages that have to solo their battles can't afford to be too squishy, that's why I'm against your proposed up-to-eleven glass cannon mage style really, no offense meant, pardon if I did.

imo, starving &low morale monsters shouldn't be in the rotations. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif)

iirc unchecked monsters stops loosing morale and hunger once they have materials to deliver.

1. Is Absorb useless?
2. Is Heartseeker good? Should I dump AP into it?
3. I pop spark of life all the time, but I hear it's not worth putting AP into. Why?
4. I haven't invested in any deprecating spells. Should I?

1. imo, Yes. however, some people do argue it does help a bit.
2. yes. more damage is always good. also, after you cast Regen you might get "channeling" to cast Heartseeker for free+extension. or if you've to cast Heartseeker, you'll also likely get channeling too. if you're worried about Mana, cast it on Spirit Stance (which is almost always for 1H) to save 25% mana.
3. SoL is great for <lv250. after lvl250+, people shifted a bit towards Spirit Shield + Sol. also, use haste/shadow veil when Sol is popping too often.
4. Yes. deprecating spells+ spirit drain is useful&versatile.

1) never find it useful, but someone other may
2) absolutely yes, as much as you can afford. as for MP, you may want to cast it while channelling effect is on
3) where did you find it? higher duration and less cost seem valid effects to me (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)
4) yep. i find useful especially slow, silence and imperil. also weaken and sleep are very popular; drain will become useful if you use ether/spirit theft

1. yes, absolutely useless
2. yes, put some AP to it, it's worth it
3. SoL it an "Oh shit" skill that you only use when you're certain to take vital hits, there's no point in raising it's duration.
4. Unless you play on PFUDOR, no.

I don't have the credits for either of these two endeavors, but I appreciate all of the other advice that's been given. Just cleared my first Battletoads RE with 1H; this shit's fantastic. Dunno why I ever bothered with 2H (though that might because I had a crappy estoc).

IA1 only need 50 hath to unlock and current hath prices is about 9k.

just do your 1k credit arena on normal every day and you should be able to get IA1 soon.

Uh, 50 * 9k = 450k... Let's say I have 12 1k arenas open. That's... 37 days, ignoring what I pay for training Adept Learner on an hourly basis.

what level are you? imo, once you have about 100-120 levels you're good for a while...
there are also bazaar fodder (variable amount) and eve of death' first clear bonus (40k), since you will also level up meanwhile. also, some blood tokens to have noodles (60k each)... (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)
