Still pretty heavily reliant on focus/drain right now, otherwise i just run out of potions before it gets interesting (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

I wanted to postpone forging until i got something better for these 2 slots, the shield just got some stuff i had lying around, but 2PAB with EMax block is imho soso for long-term investment, as well as the 2PAB rapier ;(

So, being 1H as i am right now i have advantage in high difficulty matches, but with the drawback of not being faster as a mage even when playing in a low difficulty , and then getting power armor is my best choice, because i can't clear more than 30 (maybe 35) rounds at nintendo difficulty with my current 1H build, and using a rapier is a good option since i can get kills on mobs with high defenses...

Is that all of i did miss anything?

You're right for the most part. I don't know too much about 1H nor I've played it for much, but Power is better since:

- Extra evade isn't too useful since Evade comes before Block and Parry, and you need Block/Parry to counter-attack stocking up overcharge.
- Power grants the best attack power of all the armors out there. You can also use Plate since they're cheap.

Get a Rapier, preferably with high WD+STR, parry and proc. chance. If it's an elemental weapon, hollowforge it.
Get a Force shield, one with high Block and nice PABs.

Seek some helps from 1H expert here if you want more advice.

just for clarification, simrock87 did all 3SG arenas in 3hrs with OFC with 1H+power. Emax shield too.

Anyway here's my approach:

14mana + 1 spirit potion (in case i f*ck up drains)

Round 1-37 (No SG Rounds):
Buff up and wack everything by hand, try to not use more than 1 mana potion

Round 38-74 (Single SG Rounds):
Proceed as with EoD tactic, use Konata rounds to regen spirit, focus while finishing off the lonely SG that's left after OFC. Try to enter the next round with OFC usable.

Round 75-112 (Double SG Rounds):
Try to get a drain going when below 70% SP, Stack PA to 3, wait for drain spirit to finish, OFC, finish off 1 SG asap, then focus for mana. Try to enter the next round with OFC usable.

Round 113-149 (Triple SG Rounds):
Try to get a drain going when below 80% SP, Stack PA to 3, wait for drain spirit to finish, OFC, finish off all SG asap. Try to enter the next round with OFC usable. Restore Mana with potions (Should have 12-13 left).

Round 150 (Dragons):
Bring SoL up and just kill the dragons (they seem easier than everything before (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif))

Improvements are welcome.

Well its slow then. I cleared my first PFUDOR DwD in 90 min as well, but my ping was 400ms (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

How fast do you clear T&T then? It should be about 1/3rd of your DwD clear time. If it's faster than that, then you're probably using focus/drain in DwD. My only advice is to forge your weapon and shield harder (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) Also, use merciful blow if you havent used it already. It could shave your time off by 10-15%

I think it looks better because it's bigger although I would prefer more contrast in the image. From my monitor (19 inch) your sig looks kind of empty because it has lots of white space on the sides, maybe having a wider sig would be good? (just a suggestion). Also, by any chance, DAL Light novels are available in english?

^thanks, I gave EOD a shot, 25 min, might need to fool around a bit to figure out best approach. I'll have to find some time to attempt ED and DwD later.

Also, using the shield bash, vital strike combo and not having the bleed proc is goddam annoying.

Uh, about 180x100, according to Scropio-kun. As for the avatar, not a thing I can do about it. Scropio-kun is the one who made the avatar, and I'm not gonna change it until I get a better background or something.
As for my sig... uh, it's gonna be tough to make a wider one of my liking tbh...

As for DAL light novel, there's the translated version out there in Baka-tsuki... except for the Miku Truth and Tobiichi Angel. And they're the juiciest part of the "Sephiroth harem" story (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/anime_cry.gif)

Okay, I died on the 80th round of my PFUDOR DwD attempt because my spirit shield didn't activate due to low SP. I unknowingly brought just 1 spirit potion and forgot to infuse my weapons.

But I still got 1 more chance for I'm still level 300. Maybe I'll just wait till I get cooler boots before I try again.

It is slow.
You can also try bring 15 spirit pots and use focus for mana. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
It is not hard for 1H and DW (with club).

*Shameless ad* Try SpellSpam. Latest version has hotkey (A,B,C...) for spell profile. It's now pretty much a better, more convenient version of Keybind (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

dont put your IA spells in quickslot. I have enough for buffs +cure+OFC. I should probably redo it to add disintegrate and drain though.

Is the Ragnarok worth casting for the Ripened soul and is Faster Drain worth slotting in for Spirit Theft?

Side note: I'm currently raising my AP boost to 100 for 400 AP aviable at Lv300, I even freed up my DW skills for it... and barely enough to up a few abilities...

That aside, how much AP does a dedicated melee user need anyways?
