what are the advantages of having a specific set?

Activating spirit stance with a figthing style with low prof consumes more overcharge?

-Stat is okay.
-Extend to IWBTH or even PFUDOR difficulty when playing REs, if you can afford doing so.
-Use Rapier if you're playing on high difficulty.
-Last but the most important one, UP YOUR LEVEL QUICKLY by doing Arenas or REs at high difficulty.

Your questions
*Specific set? You mean full heavy/light? If I'm not mistaken u get full bonus from equipping the same type of armors and you don't have to switch around light and heavy armor ability.
*I don't think prof. has anything to do with OC consumption.

Make sure your 1h & heavy abilities are slotted.
Replace your Helmet & Boots with Power from the Free Shop.
"Face Rolling" doesn't really start fully until 200 prof. The misses & monster evades eat up your overcharge, and only having 1 counter slows the gathering of extra overcharge.

QUESTIONS:

I recently switched from "DW + Heavy" to "NITEN ICHITYUU + Light" and I want some advices on the equipment and playstyle.

my main interest are arena and IW

Should I use heavy or light armor

what stats should I look for on my equipment (especially on the armor and which are the best)

what infusions to use

what abilities should I use

what primary attributes to lvl up

what battle items to use (14 slots + 2S + 2N)

what training should I do

when I battle which monsters should I focus on first

also any tips are welcomed (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

slow compared to who? dani?
considering it takes me ~60mins to get through PFUDOR T&T i'd say that's just fine. you must have either a fast connection or a stable one(mine keeps bouncing between 100 and 600)

out of curiousity, how many turns does it take for you to finish a round on average(not counting ED or DwD)? for me it's somewhere between 20-40, depending on how hard the mob is and if i'm getting trolled

I hadn't considered latency ... 50-100ms per request, usually it's the other way round from europe (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

I'd say it takes me 25-45 rounds on average (lower bound just now was 17, upper bound was 62, not counting ofc rounds) at least for non-boss monsters.
SG rounds usually take 60 turns for 1 SG, 90-120 for 2 SG. Although DwD after round 113 is back to about 120 rounds since i don't focus anymore ;P

Now it's over, I cannot train Adept Leaner anymore with the current Credits output.
How do I gain more?
The creeps only drop EQ und crystals and maybe some credits but in two-digits.
I've been selling off the equips for some pocketchange and pots but also investing in Adept Learner, this really drops my money. I am also converting a lot of my GP into Credits but I've fallen to around 20 emergency kGP so I cant do that anymore.

play in highest difficulty possible when doing arenas and RE to get to level 200 asap. at that point you'll be able to farm FSM for noodles, which you can sell to other players for ~60k each.

do the other RoBs on normal at least once get the clear bonuses they have, then grind arenas for blood tokens to spend on FSM on whatever difficulty you want(some would say only face him on PFUDOR, but since you have 0/25 LotD it won't make a difference)

You may also want to invest in Pack Rat, since it allows you to play at higher difficulty, and thus higher credit drops and of course exp.

If you have spare chaos tokens and crystals, create some new monsters in the monster lab, bring them to 25 and visit them once per day for feeding and hopefully to collect some bindings to sell in WTB.
Depending on your luck this can make some nice extra income for almost free.

Tokens can drop everywhere, but arena is the most common place to find them since they can drop as Token Bonus at the end of the arena. You either get Chaos or Blood Tokens this way. Higher Arenas have a higher chance for this bonus to occur, so the higher difficulty arenas have a higher chance to give a Token.]
Acquiring tokens from normal drops is rather rare since the drop chance is quite low.

Improve your 2h skill... alot. Get a Superior Eth Mace on the cheap and get your skill up.

It's not the latency that kills me it's the flickering. Chrome is full-on seizure inducing. FF is slow as balls. IE is a trap. I've tried everything and it's either slow and visually non-assaulting or fast as hell and looks like I'm raving.

My power set with full infusion/shard and rapier/force shield is not the fastest but it is safe as hell. Surprisingly so. TT&T'd twice in two days and finished in ~1000 turns and never got under 80% health. Course I use last exlir's only so that could also be a big part.

10m to go before I finally get that leg rapier, scrap this one and start forging anew. So looking forward to it, despite knowing it's only gonna be a modest gain at best.

To me, DW proficiency isn't as important as 2H prof. mainly because:

- Dmg and Parry ability which are more useful come from 2H, not DW.

- Domino strike dmg/range is capped at 100 2H-prof, but the chance is not, and you'll definitely need high Domino strike chance to be efficient.

- DW abilities only offer Acc. and Crit. chance to Niten which is a little shitty... Heck, if Niten's dmg ability comes from DW it'll be too OP. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

DW prof. is still important so don't forget to grind them too. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Same as Chrome, but doesn't flicker. Just crashes from time to time, but Chrome does that as well (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif)

Firefox does job well, using it separately from Chrome just for HV.
Try portable or at least clean version of it.

These rarely drop in normal battles. They are primarily obtained as Arena and Ring of Blood clear bonus drops or from The Lotteries. Tokens cannot be sold to the Item Shop, sent via MoogleMail, or be exchanged for other tokens.
Token of Blood: Can be used for the chance to face powerful monsters in the Ring of Blood.
Chaos Token: Used in the Monster Lab to create new monster slots and upgrade various stats of monsters.

Welp, Iron flickers just the same as Chrome does. Fuck that link too... adware installing piece of garbage. Easier to get offa SourceForge as a DD. Up the same creek, still no paddle. ARGH. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif)

So FF clean worked fine for a few rounds, then slowed right back down. It's like my browsers are telling me to go outside or something I swear.

yes, there's no good browser (yet) I have seen, not even Iron. There's some kind of giant memory sink built into all those browsers, so I have to restart FF once a day.

Tbh having to spend 3 hours to clear all SG arenas is borderline slow for me as well, if only because I have to go to Netcafe for that. Sure it's quite fast to be able to clear such a lengthy run in a few hours, but when you have a short time limit or otherwise have little time to spend on HV like I do then any arenas that takes >1 hour is simply too slow and longass really.
