QUOTE(malkatmp @ Apr 28 2014, 13:18) ps. just got this Mag Oak Staff of Focus drop, is it any good? or savage potential 20k material? Ya know... kos9494 also got something similar from what he calls "the ASIC thing". A good staff only worth a thing when it have a good stat, a prefix with a matching suffix. Or an elemental staff of destruction, these'll sold for a premium. but your staff here isn't one of them... Perhaps it's good enough to get a Hi-grade wood... how much MDB does the bindings give?
i presume it is no longer linear so where is the cut off point whereby the cost does not justify the benefits?

QUOTE(hentai_fusion @ Apr 28 2014, 15:21) i presume it is no longer linear so where is the cut off point whereby the cost does not justify the benefits? Uhm, about 10 to 20, according to danixxx I think. I'll recalculate the forging cost for a hallowed mage setup at some point, but it should be at the one fifth of the cost... about one fifth of a little over 450 Megacredits or so for the whole thing. According to treesloth, the gain is logarithmic now, the more you forge the less you get, levels matters more than forging now I think... This post has been edited by LostLogia4: Apr 28 2014, 09:41

QUOTE(treesloth16 @ Apr 19 2014, 20:57)  yes, formula is: damage ==> Final stat = Base stat*(1+.278875*(ln([forge level/10] +1))
non-damage ==> Final stat = Base stat*(1+.195*(ln([forge level/10] +1))
If you max out damage, it should come out to 66.87%more, or 166.87% of the base stat.

Does it matter what difficulty you earn the trophies in? I just did TT&T on Nintendo in ring of blood and gotten an exquisite and my very first magnificent reward by shrining the thropies or was that just pure coincidence?
Also, does the Luck of the Draw upgrade apply to shrining trophies?

No and no. Trophies are not affected by anything. Each trophy has its own fixed loot quality bonus and that's that.

Your elemental proficiency needs to be high enough.

How high do I need it, and what is the fastest way to grind that?

QUOTE(hentai_fusion @ Apr 28 2014, 17:50) does EDB/prof/etc effect the damage of the spike shields? I don't that would have mattered, what with the shield spikes deals a very negligible damage... QUOTE(malkatmp @ Apr 28 2014, 19:52) as i understand it, you need to be Lv50 & have 50 in elemental prof. spam elemental spells? Ah, yeah... spamming offensive spells... have fun spending loads and loads of Mana potions, the more MP you spend the higher yer chance to get the prof. To get T3 spells, get the Elementalism to Tier 2, quickslot and spam T2 spells one after another in the following order: Inferno, Blizzard, Downburst, Chained Lightning, rinse and repeat. Of course you need to be at least Level 150, and get 150 elemental prof, so have fun climbing the path to sorcery. Here's a list of guidelines to be a successful mage, and don't worry, at level 100 you can be a mage just fine, just not a full-fledged one till Level 310 or so. Speaking of mages are gay thingy, a better question would be, are you gay for Archmage? If you would happily spend away 8 digit's worth of Credits just to get a leg phase armor and 9 digit's worth of Credits just to forge a phase equip, then yes, then you're officially gay for the Archmage status here in this place. QUOTE(Cats Lover @ Apr 28 2014, 14:20) Again, the fastest way to get proficiency is leveling up. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Pro-tip: Play as mage at least after 310 lvl (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/duck.gif) not because they are gay/straight/metrosexual/whaever until that level, but only because low profs are so far from level cap that it's very easy to raise them to an useful extent (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

(or at least not too openly "gay for Archmage") Redundant things are redundant, but yeah, it's about time to shelve off maging for now till Level 310 when you get the fastest Imperil. I'm a DW partimer. and grinding Divine/Forbidden prof is more trouble than its worth for me right now, so I'm shelving it a bit to save my sanity, I don't wanna go apeshit over my low prof again... not that I can do much with my slow Internet, I'm lucky to get 10 APM right now... (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) Well... the real problem is that the mages can't easily get high EXP at low level. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif) From the experience of a lot of my friends and my own, low level maging is too slow and boring and hard in comparison with melee. Of course, I don't want to say all the players should begin with melee. I don't like uniform and standardized classes (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) (Yes! TBH I want to say 10B plz buff 2H and Niten, even though I'm 1H Heavy user from the beginning. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)) But this is Ask the Experts! thread, the newbies want to know the most efficient and the fastest way. So I can't help saying "Level up first, and do whatever you want after at least 300+ lvl."

Hi, I just heard that 'Arena Bonus' does not affected by any training. I can't see anything related on WIKI page. Is this true? Can some body forward me the link to where states this? Thanks. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/wub.gif)
