I can't be sarcastic? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) And whatever I said earlier about maging, I meant only in the context of PFUDOR. You can always play in IWTBH, which only requires staff forging, not armor forging.
Yep, awesome sense of humour and sarcasm is fine. Geez, I'll stay off PFUDOR in a mage setup until Level 350 and a few Phazons at least...

QUOTE(treesloth16 @ Apr 26 2014, 07:17) *
A while ago, forging would increase your base stat by only 1%. Now forging follows a logarithmic formula; the first gives you 2.75% increase in your stat, which then diminishes to about 0.25%. This is good for non-rich players because you don't need to forge so much to get a good return. This is bad for higher level players because damage used to be doubled (now only 167%) for full forging. Even worse for mage bc we also rely on EDB, which is now only 135%, instead of 150%. But again, you don't need to fully forge to play successfully as mage.
TL:DR, Mage's EDB has been nerfed, your level and equip now matters more than forging.

Okay, I did this:
You hold 1 of 6598 sold tickets.

And I won this:
Legendary Arctic Katalox Staff of Fenrir

I doubt it'll auction for much, given how few tickets were bought...

What kind of price should I sell it for?

First ! Take a look there ! https://forums.e-hentai.org/index.php?showtopic=163637 It´s a free Shop ! Request some decent Equip ^^

second, if you want to Melee for a while forget "INT" !

keep first 4 stats balanced & WIS -.- its up too you ...if you run out of MP too fast keep it close to your main stats !

LOL, you so lucky, I remember a while ago you won a GLT with 6 tickets.

Mmm...maybe I should continue buying 1 ticket per day like I used to.

Question:

Does forging crit. chance on offhand (DW style) give any effect? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)
I feel retarded if it doesn't coz I just spent some mats on it...

yes but it might not be worth it. it depends on your setup and what the base crit is on your weapon, since higher base = higher return. this is especially true for damage and crit chance.

for example, if i were to forge the crit on my rapier to the max, it'll cost me ~200 HG metals, a handful of mid grades, and 50 issacs(~2.6M total) and it'll bring the base to 12.13(a net gain of 3.2).
meanwhile 5 shadowdancer pieces will get me far more crit for the same price. less if i went with exquisites.

Talking about shadowdancers......

Do they really have the same evade roll as fleet?
All the SDs I see in the auctions seem to always have very inferior evade.

Can someone link to a mmax evade shadowdancer piece to convince me?

There's no point in accumulating AP to leave them sitting idle, free up some more slots and max out HP, MP, and SP tanks according to your Exp level. This is a must because deeper tanks means better survival.

As for your stats, you can leave Int empty for now and more or less even out the points among the rest. Some people also keep Wis further back from the rest of the melee attributes but I like having deepest possible mana tanks.

Your Rapier/Rapier DW combo is not common, simply because rapiers have the lowest damage among the 1H weapons. I've been using Axe/rapier for some 200+ levels but at the beginning Shortsword/Shortsword was the easiest to use with pretty decent damage and used that comboup to about Lvl80 before looking for an axe.

Nothing. High accuracy over 100 has no effect on parry, but on evade only. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
Parry can be countered by something like stun, weapon's overpower potency, 1H's overwhelming strike and sleep.

if my evade is at 41.2% and this staff has a burden of 15.08, how much will my evade be reduced?

41.2 - ( 15.08 * 4/3 ) = 21.09 doesn't feel right.

Accurate formula here: (if it's not obsolete)
http://ehwiki.org/wiki/Character_Stats#Evade
QUOTE

Evade = 1 - (1 - shadow_veil) * (1- (1 - Min((Burden * 4/3%)^1.5 , 1)) * (1 - (1 - equip_bonus) * (1 - title_bonus) * (1 - AGI * 0.04%)))

41.2 * (1 - (15.08 * 4/3%)^1.5) = 41.2 * 0.90984 = 37.4854

Meh it was 140% before. So except for MDB we didn't lose that much as long as we give more mats to get to the max.

Magic crit chance comes on all staffs. Spell crit Damage is from Annihilator potency. Magic crit chance increases your chances to crit, and Spell crit damage increases the crit damage if your spell does crit. It's analogous to Shadowdancer suffix and Savage Prefix.
