+ about Staffs - I asked this some pages ago but there were no answers - why do you prefer staff of Heimdaill and not of Destruction?

Not that I know, but I assume it's because +holy damage increases healing spell effects.

For holy mages it means more damage with divine magic and, as Drakewyn said, a buff for healing magic...
Of destruction gives an overall damage buff while Heimdall staff gives just the divine buff.

Axe is also great due to high damage, but you sacrifice a ~10-15% of parry... ...also, they're cheap. in the pass couple auctions, you can get a Legendary Axe for 150-250k.

I would go for peerless since you have it. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) Higher EDB, has CR. What I did for my dark focus staff was get penetratorx5 to give me 30%CR. I think annihilator would be the best best potency since you have a high crit%. So 4each would be nice.

Also, I don't think the magic score script works for Radiant gear. Somehow the script isn't counting the extra magic damage on the phase armor.... can anyone verify this? Or did I just wasted a bunch of credits on meaningless radiant?

Not a must, it depends on the player's EDB/MDB ratio and the staff's stats.

It should work for Radiant gear. (there are codes in the script to ensure that the MDB's updated when the player's using/comparing a radiant armor)

Let me correct then: even more damage with holy magic for Heimdall staff ^^
Since it's a specific element, you get an additionnal damage bonus.

I thought that's a must if player wears phase set of his element (heimdall),
it's usually ~200% EDB with set and destruction and ~240% with heimdall staff

Dood... hollowed =/= hallowed, I get what you mean, but a single misspelling changes the whole meaning.

Tree's absorbing ward is passive, it can't be cancelled by silence. So the only thing you can do is to kill the tree first.

Figured that one out today. Silence only keeps the tree from healing is all.

Is this Robe really worth that much? I mean... its EDB is at Ex level but you're offering a price that seems to be able to buy yourself a Mag. level EDB robe. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

A good Mag. phase robe can go for 6 digit credit figure, a prefixed Leg phase sells for 7 digits iirc. partly cuz most of the former melee users (especially estoc) are maging. Heck, the rich guys like dnbdave would spend hundreds of millions of credits just to forge their weapons, with auctions you can pay on installment, so it's pretty normal for a good Leg phase equip to reach 7 or even 8 digits in auction really.

Yes; pretty much the spells that cost alot, mana-wise, will be slow. Alot of the scary mobs can crit twice in one turn, so you don't want to be casting heartseeker when there are too many staring down at you.

Uh, is the Banish and Disintegrate fast enough to justify the lack of range and power of Paradise and Ragnarok when fighting 10 mobs at once?

Mage equips goes without saying due to their high damage per minute. Why, perhaps a peerless one can rack up to 9 digit figure...
