it depends what you want to do. imo,

Mace is safe for higher difficulties, because of stun.
Estoc has a similar Damage as mace. but with piercing, it'll do a bit more damage. however, without stun you'll be minced meat when 7-10 monsters crits/use special on you at higher difficulties.
Longsword generally has bleeding & generally higher ABD. imo, it's good for clearing things @HellNightmare fast. hence, more tokens for monsters & noodly to sell@58-60k.

from my experience, it's harder to do BT+ with a longsword/estoc than a mace. or maybe, i'm too cheap for the good stuff. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Mace + Slaughter is generally not cheap.
Mag + (Mace + Slaughter) is a lot more expensive.
(Mag + (Mace + Slaughter)) x Ethereal becomes crazy expensive. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/faint.gif)

yep. it may match slot name with suffix, but even without checking ranges it isn't prefixed, so its value was decimated in less than a second, yet it seems one of the best drops we may have from those trophies. sorry for you (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)
though you can still try to sell it for something, maybe trying to gain some IW eco on it... as last resort you may take advantage of its high PXP (thus, high chance of getting HG material) and selling it as junk: judging from ST-Ru prices, it's still 6k (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Mine's only a one-bit better. So much for better equips always have prefixes...
Legendaries always come with equip prefixes, but... for magnificent-grade weapons... only half the time.

I only get Superiors from the ASIC thingy, Anyway, for something like a Golden 1 Bit-coin you could've expected a Legendary... but they would only give Magnificent-grades most of the time. I'd very much recommend you to choose staff regardless if you're maging or not, but if you like to gamble yer luck with Snowflake, go ahead and be Snowflake guest's for a 2H weapon.

Shrined 4 ASIC and got:

Superior Leather Gauntlets of Warding
Superior Leather Breastplate of Dampening
Exquisite Oak Staff of Heimdall
Magnificent Redwood Staff of Mjolnir

It can give quite good items I think. Too bad staffs are only valueble when they have matching prefix-suffix or destruction suffix.
