Try asking the auction holder for an incremental proxy bid. That way you don't have to worry as the auction holder will bid in your place till the it exceeds your maximum budget.

just wondering, why all of you are so disgusted by the arctic one? because cold strike is meh? or for its 'low' ATK? apart from 50~100 ATK points (out of 1100!) it has the best overall stats, including prco chance and BUR... it seems to me the best compromise among those three... the exquisite one is clearly overpriced jugdging from its stats, even for being an ethereal one
same here. i sold and arctic estoc with stats very similar to your fiery one for 7k, judging from the price of those mag (and the fact that someone still wants to buy them) i should have asked at least 50k...

Artics ADB is kinda too low compared to the other two for my liking. Fiery's burden is a bit depressing, but it's high ADB and Ele damage kinda win me over. I was thinking of Temp, but it's burden would need to be 16 for me to consider it worth it, I don't think 18 Burden is worth the lesser Ele damage, ADB, or crit chance, even if its PABs are a bit better.

Artic would be awesome if its ADB were just a bit higher, like 820-830. And its proc chance is just 1% higher than Fiery's, which I feel has better damage output overall.

Yeah, I think Fiery is the best option here, or going for that auction if there's a better weapon there.

Same goes for the heavy armor with Power prefix, which means the Radiant Armament is the magic equivalent of Power Armament, except it's far rarer (due to it being an armor prefix rather than an armor type), and tend to have double digit MDB.

Anyway, does Holy/Dark Imperil's effect stack with Better Imperil?

imo, burden isn't really that big of a deal. especially, when Featherweight Shards are relatively cheap.

personally, i just brought 100 Featherweight Shards @ 400c each (or 40k total). it took <48hrs of WTB to gather all 100. also, 100 shards @1hr each is 100hrs worth of "lighter things". not counting drops that's ~40-50days worth for me.

Imperil normally has no effect on Holy/Dark mitigation... you have to buy (and slot) it separately.

Is it better to spend Chaos Tokens on monster slots or use them to improve existing monster?

It depends on a few factors...
1) Can you afford to feed/maintain/upgrade many monsters?
2) Do you want a few good gifts every few days, or a random (often low quality material) drop every day?

To me that Mace is far better than that Estoc because I myself prefer 0 burden and mass stun. Not to mention that Mace ADB is exceeding ExMax (around 70) but that estoc is only at <ExMax (around 68) standard.

basically, you just type the item you want + your Bid. the item will hv an item No. ie that Estoc is "No.06" + your bid.

bids start at 50k with 50k increments. once the Bid is above 500k, the min increment is 10% of the previous Bid.

lastly, you can pm the auctioneer with proxy bids, because sometime you're not available during the end. so you can just tell the auctioneer you hv 500k to bid for No. 06 & he'll work with that starting with 50k then work up to 500k.

it depends. though, imo, the quantity approach is okay. ie hving 10 PL 25-50 monsters first then slowly upgrade them one at a time. also, you can just max out their Scavenging & Fortitude.
