QUOTE(malkatmp @ Apr 19 2014, 12:31) just curious, how can you tell what's new/old?
old Arcanist has Negation resist, and only 0-four PABs. New arcanist has fleet/shadowdancer resist, and 0-6 PABs.

QUOTE(etothex @ Apr 19 2014, 03:28) always cost 1 binding, 1 special component (if needed) and 5 graded materials. the only thing that changes is ratio of LG/MG/HG.
Special component consumption is cumulative to highest level of any forging, as in you use 1, and it's good for all other upgrades up to that level. (2 upgrades of a power armor's pmi requires 2 repurposed actuators, but upgrading, attack, str, dex, pmi, mmi all to level 1, costs only 1 repurposed actuator)
Oh okay thanks. But then how do I know the ratio of MG/LG needed?

The Forge tells you all of the requisite materials when you hover your cursor over a stat on the right side of the screen. When you have all of the materials required to forge a stat, it's automatically highlighted in yellow for you.

I was wondering whether It is a good or bad idea to level rush? Like I am just grinding all of the arena battles that are open to me everyday.

Level rush should be your primary objective until level 300 to unlock all arenas, and your secondary objective (after credits) until level 400 to be able to max your abilities.

yes. that's what you should do. don't worry about Grindfest or Item World for now. & just do as many Arenas/Random Encounters @ the highest possible difficulty. also, just do Ring of Blood for the first time clearing bonus & save all your Blood tokens until you're lv200 to "farm" Noodly (which you can sell for 55-60k) from FSM.

Well, I want to make sure I have enough money to buy all the materials needed.

QUOTE(Mikey_Mike @ Apr 19 2014, 01:47) Ah okay, what training should I be doing then? -DON'T put any more money into assimilator. it's largely worthless -DO invest more in pack rat -DO put more into drop trainings(LoTD>archaeologist(only up to 7, then its worthless)=quartermaster>scavenger). -DO put more into adept learner if you think you're leveling too slow and ability boost if you actually need the extra points also..... QUOTE(something @ Apr 18 2014, 19:06) it's been awhile but last time i tried PFUDOR T&T with my rapier i got wrecked. that was before i got my current club though. will try again at some point this weekend and post results.
gave it a go a few mins ago. Final Verdict: as it is now, my rapier is slightly faster than using waki+imperil, but way more squishy. shorter stun + shorter buffs + less parry = get hurt more. This post has been edited by something: Apr 19 2014, 08:19

QUOTE(Mikey_Mike @ Apr 19 2014, 07:47) Ah okay, what training should I be doing then? you seem to hv a decent chuck of credits for your lv. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) though, imo, for most players they should Maxout "Pack Rat" (total 540k credits) & "Postage Paid" perk (10haths or ~91k credits). since you already have some training, i guess to maxout Pack Rat is 260k(?!). though, i thought Pack Rat has 10 lvls, no? lastly, you can always improve your equipment. IIRC going from 8 to 10 costs ~10M also, there are 10 levels but pack rat has a level cap QUOTE - Cannot be training beyond (the player's level / 20)

The cost scales up pretty quickly: Level 7: 1.6M Level 8: 2.8M Level 9: 4.7M Level 10: 7.9M I'd say stopping at level 7 or 8 is reasonable. Go higher if you have money to throw around. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

(IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) though, i always find it odd that archaeologist cost scale so much faster than Lotd/Scavenger/Quartermaster. also, somehow, the total cost of archaeologist is more than Lotd/Scavenger. remind me about the loot blah penalty for doing too much low difficulty?
it's 1000 rounds per 24 hours, or 1000 rounds full stop?

The one I posted should be accurate on anything but ADB/MDB. QUOTE(tychocelchu @ Apr 19 2014, 14:42) remind me about the loot blah penalty for doing too much low difficulty?
Should be a sliding 24-hour window.
