Are there videos on youtube or somewhere available with fighting styles in battle? I mean like I would want to see how mages and 1h+shield guys fight in real time, before switching to other style (if ever)

QUOTE(Cats Lover @ Apr 18 2014, 18:08) If you use 1H Heavy, try to aim for 55+ block chance, 6k+ ADB, and 25~30%+ to all specific mitigation (At least holy, dark, and fire). I think block chance and ADB is the most important stat for 1H Heavy. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) PMI is relatively not so important on SG marathons IMO. You may need to use focus if you feel lack of mana potions, though. Spirit Theft is not a must-have, but it will help you keep balancing your MP and SP. It was really useful when I was 330~370 lvl. Lastly, OFC will help you against 3 SGs + normal monsters Beyond some threshold, you can clear DwD PFUDOR without using focus, deprecating spells, Spirit Theft and any shards. That's gonna keep me out of 1H for quite some time until I could level and forge the shield good enough... Speaking of which, is the Niten-Ichiryuu any good for IWing and grindfest at all for high level players?

1H is still the easiest style to do PFUDOR with (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/duck.gif)

I tried Niten (both Heavy and Light) but so much harder than 1H. Better than 2H, though. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Questions: Aside from clearing SGs and REs, is there any other thing that we should do daily?

look at porn? though, i'd skip the SG & do as many Arenas as possible. my reasoning is you'll get more tokens (chaos & blood), hence, better monsters & more Noodly to sell @ 55-60k. also, i can do all non-SG @PF & faster than SG arenas. i'd imagine i'll get a more loot, credits, & better arena clearing bonus than doing SG @ <PF. Thanks for the humor. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) Just did half of the first Arena page in PF and got few Mag. equipment. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cool2.gif) Seems like it's better than <Hell difficulty SGs.

(IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cool2.gif) Seems like it's better than <Hell difficulty SGs. The last three Arena runs are loaded with hundreds of Legendary-type enemies (read:schoolgirls). Would've been one thing if we encountered hordes them every 10 rounds, but no, they and their insane HP tank have to appear on every frickin' round, so these arenas will take a while to clear off. Anyway, perhaps I'll try out higher difficulty Arenas on melee once I got high enough level (or an Ethereal Club of Slaugther)... in melee. With my elemental mage setup I can barely do the Fresh Meat at Hell difficulty... @kos9494... uh, Rapier of the Nimble for a high-parry rate offhand is a bit overrated tbh... Also, I have a hallowed mage setup with the Holy EDB slightly above 200... but... with a very measly 1.95 Divine prof... I know that I gave amped a very detailed advice to become one, but should I wait till Level 300 before I start training it? This post has been edited by LostLogia4: Apr 18 2014, 16:48

-calls Lv. 300++ DW on that quote- From what I read somewhere, pre-Lv. 300 DW players will usually go for Balance for higher offhand strike chance, somewhere about 80~90%. Once they reach 300++ their prof. and stats have become so high that even using a Nimble would grant them equally high offhand chance. High level DW usually favor Nimble over Balance for better parry especially Niten (no parry bonus). This post has been edited by kos9494: Apr 18 2014, 18:51

DW with Balance weapon on the off-hand is the only way to make off-hand strike chance reach 100%. Also, DW players need critical to make killing faster. Balance weapon give both. BTW, when the level getting higher, the defense will also be higher. FYI, when I use DW, I use full power armor. This post has been edited by Colman: Apr 18 2014, 19:07

Gah, scremaz please delete your post, I know I mistake the decimal place OTL. No one needs to know what I posted here.

My LotD was lvl 9 that time (lvl 10 now), so I thought I was lucky. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) It was only two Mag., one was Axe of Illithid and the other one was a Longsword of of the Battlecaster. Both of them didn't have prefixes and their PXP is below average so I salvaged them.

you rang? rapier of the nimble could be good but you probably need one with >mmax parry. any lower and the extra defense wont make up for not having higher offhand strike and crit chance case and point: i can clear nintendo arenas faster with this rapier than this one. they both have about the same parry, but balance makes things go so much faster even without being IW'ed

(IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) though, why didn't you IW it?
