BTW my mage friend used 200+ amnesia shards when he got 5 eco on his staff...

dunno what you are working on, but don't spend more credits worth of shards than the value of the equipment. or maybe even 3/4 or 1/2 the value.

If you're forging, you're going to spend 3x the value of the equipment anyway (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

It's 25c/pxp in my shop so it often comes out cheap, still usually people send me shards.

Edit: Hmm if i calculate right it's about 500k+ credits per hour in credits for me.

It would be 400k+ to get a leg equipment to level 10. That's about 14-16 runs. I doubt you can get lv5 potency in under 35 runs unless you're incredibly lucky (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif)

Welp luck, still it usually takes 1-3 runs to check if it's worth to continue before resetting.

Basically when you send a MM with an item attached and it has been set with a CoD, the buyer must pay first before he can remove the content.

COD is one of the two possible ways to pay for an item (excluding credit transfer, used only as last resort afaik).
the first one is to rely on faith both from seller's and from buyer's side: you send me payment first, i send you the ger later (or vice versa);
the second (and most safe one) is to ask/send the item with an pay-when-open-like message: you read the mail but when you download the item that action will automatically deduct funds from you; this actually is called COD or Cash On Delivery

1k crystals = 10 pills
2 hath = 18 pills
1 artifact = 13 pills

surely nobody would buy them for 2k, but, let's saying, a bunch of 50 key-in-hands pills @ 1.5~1.7k each is still 80k; 1.7k is really near to highshopbot but may be justified by the certainty to have a good reserve ready to use now.

i made an edit, but it's still useful to explain here: as all things, hv is based on demand/offer and other economy principles: it's certainly true that i may ask, just saying, 1.2k to a pill and save 30% compared to my price, but how much time would require me to build all that amount of HP? that (apprently) higher price is still the cheapest way to have a big reserve of pills available at the moment, because is yet inferior to shopbot price (you will save 15%, to be clear (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) )

it seems to me that bot creates new objects, not that it buys from bazaar; or better, it buys from a sort of infinite-stocs bazaar, in which an auction principle rules over prices; what we call 'item shop' is actually only the surface of that, with base prices for items and way less reserves
