How should I go about leveling depreciating proficiency with Dual Wield playstyle? I'm level 92 atm and my prof is 0.62 and I want to unlock Imperil asap but I feel like it's going to take ages to get it.

you can raise few round points of proff by spamming cheapest spell at the last round and eating all mana pots there.

imperil unlocks at level 30, so that's not a so-difficult task.
you can either:
* enter a normal grindfest round, kill all monster except one and keep on spamming weaken on it as if it was raining, thus cast a mana potion and exit the challenge when you run out of potions
* keep a backup mage set equipped with frugal/curse-weaver armor and redwood/willow staff of focus, and do again what above described, only in a more efficent way (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Whew, I knew there'd be a hell of a handicap switching to 2H+Shade with only 7 and 67 prof respectively but what a button mashing contest that was. Cleared T&TT on PFUDOR barely. Gonna have to set it back down to IWBTH for a little bit and grind. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Hi there. I've been playing for a few weeks by now. I'm fairly happy with my setup but I seem to have some issues. I'll show you my stats and equips first.

Stats:

Main Hand: Superior Arctic Shortsword of Slaughter
Offhand: Magnificent Ethereal Wakizashi of Slaughter
Helmet: Exquisite Leather Helmet of Stoneskin
Body: Exquisite Leather Breastplate of Stoneskin
Hands: Superior Leather Gauntlets of Stoneskin
Legs: Exquisite Shade Leggings of the Arcanist
Feet: Magnificent Agile Leather Boots of Stoneskin

-I like to be able to hit hard and accurately but I have a bit of trouble against multiple enemies (mainly when it gets above 7) since DW can't cause any splash damage. There probably isn't any way to remedy this.
-I want to conserve a bit more mana every time I use Cure. Right now it costs me 13 points to cast one. However, I don't want a mage setup by any means.
-Any potential stats I should invest in? Invest less in?
-Any other tips?
-How does Bleeding Wound work? I understand the concept that is does DoT but how much? Is the DoT based on the attack power of the weapon or the health of the monster?
-Lastly, I was curious whether the Ring of Blood should be hard... It didn't take me very long to finish it.

there's no wiki, but IMO

for armor: jugg~capacitor>holy>dark>fire>everything else

for staff: eco>everything else

for 1H: fatality>butcher>swift strike>nothing>overpower

for DW(main): everything else>overpower DW(off): everything else>butcher. try to aim for at least 6 levels of swift strike between the two.

for 2H: good question...all i can say is if you get more than 2 overpower you should probably start over. some consider it useless but i have my doubts

-DW doesn't get to clear monsters really fast until you unlock frenzied blows at 75 prof. tough it out till then or switch to 2H and come back later
-don't worry so much about mana for now, as your mana pool will eventually get bigger when you level up more. for now just pack a few mana potions
-your stats are fine for now
-consider switching to a club in your main hand at some point
-i believe its attack power of the weapon but don't quote me on it
-not unless you play on higher difficulties, and even then the only one that's kinda hard is TT&T

Awesome. This helps a lot now since if it was the attack of the weapon itself, that wouldn't help very much especially during bosses. Just to be sure, does it take a random percentage off of the monsters health or is the DoT stat the percentage itself?

Thanks alot something. I keep seeing people talking about the weapon potential say get all of this one don't have that one I just didn't now what to have on any armor or weapon's.

Hiya, I tried searching for an answer, but my search-fu is weak. How does one determine the price of an item that's destined for the WTS subforum? Is it completely arbitrary, or is there some loose guideline to pricing a piece of equipment? Thanks!

if you haven't got max Pack Rat in training, i'll do that first. then maybe on drop trainings (LotD, scavenger, quartermaster, etc). or maybe a full upgrade in equipment?

imo, mana generally isn't a huge problem for me unless we're talking about grindfest & DwD.
Crystarium perk is good when you do a lot of grindfest. iirc, Holy_Demon said it somewhere before it takes 60-80(?) runs of Hellfest to breakeven on Crystarium1.
Resplendent Regeneration seems like a very minor "upgrade". in combat regen is pretty insignificant & out combat regen is meh when potions are cheap.
Dæmon Duality (damage) is nice to have, but 2000haths for 10%. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/faint.gif)

Hey there,

i'd say take a look at the auctions from the last 3-5 weeks to get a general idea on what you're trying to sell.
From watching the last 4 weeks i noticed the following:
MMax Force Shield: 500k-2m
Decent Leg Power Slaughter: > 10m
Decent Mag Power Slaughter: > 1m
Crappy Peerless: 1m+
Mag Phase of Element: 100-500k
Mag Phase of Heimdall: 250k-1m
Leg Phase of Element: 3m+
Leg Leather: 50k?
Mag Shade of Shadowdancer/Fleet: 300k+
Leg Shade of not Shadowdancer/Fleet: 500k+

Prices differ for equip stats, so don't quote me on it (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

If you've got something good to sell, try auctioning it over one of the big sellers. You'll get more coverage there.
