QUOTE(Scremaz @ Apr 13 2014, 21:26) ethereal weapons deal void damage, that (different from all other kinds, including slashing and holy) can't be mitigated but only resisted, so surely an ethereal longsword may be way more effective than your actual, even with 200 less DMG, and btw at my level 23 BUR is enough to kill 8 points evade: whether it's acceptable or not, it's up to you to decide, but frankly speaking i couldn't afford to lose 20% of my evade due to a non-ethereal gear. btw, featherweight cost about 500c each at shopbot, but they can't remove all that BUR/ITR if i remember corret. and still, you're slowly approaching the level in which bleeding wound would become way less effective than stun or penetrated armor, so you may want to try an estoc or a mace: i sent to you a couple of examples, give them a check (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) Hmm, you're right, and now that I think about it if I was going to go with Longsword for damage, I probably should also have gone with Heavy Armor. My original goal was to hit as hard as possible, relying on evade and speed as my defense, over raw defense. However, I failed to take into account just how much of a burden a longsword would be, so I absolutely need an Ethereal Longsword if that's the route I wish to take. I'll give mace and estoc a try, but ultimately I really want that extra damage that Longsword gives, even if bleeding isn't as useful as stun or penetrate armor. So, I'll try out mace and estoc up until I get enough money for a good Ethereal Longsword. I received your mail; as always, thanks for the assistance.

For 2H, axe and estoc are both equally terrible at PFUDOR (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) This post has been edited by holy_demon: Apr 13 2014, 21:53

Anomtai said QUOTE(Anomtai @ Apr 13 2014, 22:46) What you want to do, is shrine one set of coins, and then hold on to whatever coins you get for six months, and then advertise them on WTS, because people will spend obscene amounts of credits to buy them off you.
I on the other hand think it's a good chance to stockpile some Energy Drinks and get easy Artifact stat points for cheap (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Started grinding for coins like no tomorrow... these coins actually tipping out much more commonly than the Precusor Artifact drops.
Anyway, how much stamina do you recover from each Energy Drink?
Also, is the Crystarium worth getting at all? It's pricing is quite forbidding...

10 per each. QUOTE Also, is the Crystarium worth getting at all? It's pricing is quite forbidding...
It's worth if you have time to do Grindfest a lot of time. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

cross your fingers. give karma to snowflake. ummm.... other than that? play ALOT. And I mean like >10hours/day of sitting there, doing nothing but playing. Not even time for fapping, eating, or sleeping. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

No. Difficulty controls the quality and the type of drops you'll get, but not the drop rate.

Question:
I got my Spirit Shield but I found it less effective than Protection for some reasons.
It only triggers when the damage you take from the monster is more than, say 35% of your total hp but the mobs even at PF only deals damage less than 35% of my hp.
SOL triggers more often than SS now. So, how should I utilize SS? Change my END gears to reduce max hp or something?

You should use both SS and Protection. heck you should use all buffs: shadow veil, haste, etc. BTW what does that gif in your sig mean? I don't play backgammon or jenga or whatever that board game is....

I recommend to use SS at least after you get 4th ability level (265 lvl, 25%) Until then use SoL and all other buffs like Protection, Haste, Regen, Heartseeker, (+Shadow Veil), and try to increase your specific mitigation of your armors if you can do IW yourself. 10 lvl is not required, only 4~5 level for each slot is enough. BTW I prefer Holy, Dark, Fire to other mitigations. Juggernaut is good, but don't reforge yet to get it. VV is useful if you have 250 Hath... As Cat's Lover said, it's Mah-Jong... and I think it's from an Anime named Saki, but I'm not sure about that.
