QUOTE(hyl @ Jan 24 2011, 08:36) no
I think power tank has some uses, but the other karma related trainings are useless in the HV game, but they have uses on the forums....I usually only spend money training them if the other trainings are too expensive or I don't want to spend too many credits on trainings since most of my karma trainings are very cheap.

Power is mostly for vigilante guys, to expunge and tagging per example. This post has been edited by cmdct: Jan 25 2011, 00:57

Yeah, and power is also used for people who give out karma a lot.

Ok, I have a rank noob question that I can't seem to find an answer to in the Wiki or the FAQ.
How on earth do I heal? I can select the spell (or item), but then there isn't anywhere on the screen to click on myself to actually confirm the heal.
I've been grinding through without it, but it seems that healing would make life better on the longer fights.

QUOTE What is karma??? That yellow/golden bar under your avatar. Depending on your power karma(rep) power you can give some +rep or -rep to other people. if you give smeone karma you bar becomes empty(like mine or Happysin2's) unless you have power saving skill trained. A question about monster evade/resist.
Did the monster's evade/resist rate rise when they level up? like a LV30s monster have 5% base resist but a LV70s have 10%?
It seems my 82% magic acc + 51% euqip magic acc missed more and more when I level up...
When I was 30s mage, the 1st circle of Elec is GREAT. Only blue smile and cockatrice(I think it's the weakest enemy in this game) can resist me, sometimes scary ghost.
But now I'm a 70s mage...2nd circle of elec seems shit. Every monster can resist me, in Normal-LV100+, it means a 200+ normal hit or 300+ crit hit.

With your stats, you have a hit chance of roughly 91-92%. That usually means that 1 monster will still survive in a big group. It has nothing to do with "circles of elec" or whatever you call it. This post has been edited by hyl: Jan 25 2011, 17:35

QUOTE I just think that

what will happen?? Magic Chance to Hit = Magic Accuracy + (Magical +Hit Chance / 100) * (100 - Magic Accuracy) I don't know the exact code, but to my mind monster resist chance is some factor in equation which decides if you hit or miss (just like tossing a coin), so it's decided only once for each monster not twice as you think : player : hit , monster1 : resist, player : hit monster1 : no resist and so on. no, you will not ever get 100% hit chance because the stats are calculated in a multiplicative fashion rather than additively.

Wrong. Players around lvl250+ can get 100% base hit chance from having such high primary stats This post has been edited by DemonEyesBob: Jan 25 2011, 22:44

Wrong. Players around lvl250+ can get 100% base hit chance from having such high primary stats You can also long before lvl250 get 100% acc. Bonuses from violet aura, and AF are additive after the equipment bonuses.

Needs to be at least 270+ to get 100%. It can be reached a bit earlier if they use all fox gear but not by much. You can reach 100% a lot earlier after you get AF with a focus staff, but no one in their right minds would use a focus staff at these levels. This post has been edited by sushi0: Jan 25 2011, 23:07
