yes, but as n125 said, you're gambling: is it better to gamble at high stakes but with slightly higher chances or at low stakes with lower possibilities? as for us sellers it doesn't really matter, sell that noodle to whoever wants it and take a free mag armor (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Better a "pretty useless" weapon than a useless weapon that turns your own cure spell into a "click X to die" spell.

vampire has a nice-looking name, but at that point it should be more useful an illithid weapon, since you can use the MP you gain to cast cure. btw, as far as i remember Drakewyn is using an Illithid mace, you can try ask him how it goes.

A few more questions, about the Niten-ichi ryu, is it possible to ensure 100% and above domino and offhand strikes and how? Also, does the offhand strikes gets a domino effect as well?

Domino is capped at 90% for *every* 2H-based proc, but niten has minor AoE. offhand strike could go above 100%, but don't know what it actually happens; surely, offhand process only on main target, as DW process does.

May I know what should be the sufficient points of my primary attributes if i am a mage...i am losing quite a bit being a mage even in hell difficulty....and if i dual weild i can do majority of random encounters on iwbth but i want to grind elemental /dark,mage proficiencies but i lose majority of the time if i go on higher than nightmare.

auction, definitely! it's not a matching staff, but surely it could go for million range... as for starting, i'd say 300k or so, boh...

first of all change gloves, definitely! eg a Fenrir should work since you want to be a dark mage
second, for a mage INT and WIS are really important, but also AGI and END, as far as i know it while STR and DEX are useful only for SP points.

PA reduces to 25%, though when I don't feel any difference in Vital Strike damage between Imperil + PA and just PA. Casting imperil just for the specific mit is not worth the mana cost imo, especially since I'm using holy + dark infusion in SG, and I don't have points in holy/dark imperil

Although PA -75% pmi only at 3 stacks, my output damage show me that they have almost no PMI at all.
Perhaps -75% of PA use direct subtract rather than percentage reduction. i.e. Final_PMI = original_PMI - PA% rather than Final_PMI = original_PMI * ( 1- PA%)
FYI, monsters' PMI is only from END/AGI so it should be capped at 80%.

Send it off to one of two Auctioneers (Dreamaphobia or Komica Island) and start looking about the WTS yourself on how to spend the millions that will come your way in about a week or so.

I think it's too early for you to be trying both mage and melee at the same time. You can't grind proficiency quick enough for one discipline let alone two at your level. Wait until you are Lv300+ to mage, I am grinding 1H prof at the moment and I have been able to raise the prof to nearly 200 in 3, 4 levels of play.

Can someone double check this for me: MMI reduction aside, imperil is pretty much useless on target with 3 stacks of Penetrated armor, or does it further reduce the target PMI to 0?

If it's the latter, Imperil might be worth using in SG (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/duck.gif)

Done with following conditions:
- Data from 5 attacks for each condition to Mikuru
- Imperil PMI/MMI -45% (specific mitigation -35%)
- AD 4630

On 3 PA, wind strike's damage is 2~3 times increased because of Imperil's specific mitigation.
It would be worth if you can endure additional mana consumption in return for some increment of total damage output. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

But on marathons you would use holy/dark weapon, so I think Imperil will not help you that much unless you get Holy Imperil or Dark Imperil.

as zen_zen said, you should decide if pursuing melee (and which style!) or maging (and what element!). if you really want to be a mage, start slowly reassigning EXP points with minimum values similar to these and build a matching armor set/staff.

For PA vs imperil, I think the Formula should look like PMI * (1 - PA%) * (1 - imperil%).
It can be deduced from Cat_Lovers data: the damage increment from PA seems to be kinda the same, while the combined effect of PA and imperil decrease when PA increase.

People would buy that for collection purpose only, so don't expect too much from it.

You may not be able to generate enough traffic to hold an auction on your own to maximize the return, but then again it's a Peerless equipment, so who knows. Start at zero and let the market take care of it, but if you want a minimum reserve price for the staff that you'd be willing to part with, you are going to have to research that yourself. Peerless is pretty much an uncharted territory and sky could be the limit or not.

2nd this. when you don't hv that much traffic (or stuff to sell), your thread will sink quite fast. also, some rich folks will only visit the big auctions (ie Dreamaphobia or Komica Island). even when you factor in the commission, you'll likely get more money minus the hassle of running an auction.

maybe it's just me, but running an auction is a hassle. the only reason you want to do one is when you've a bunch of stuff that's decent, but not good enough to be in the big auctions (ie 10-50k) (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Some famous auctions are held every week, so a lot of people would visit there and pay attention, especially when close to the end time of the auction.
many people don't want to spend time searching and finding some decent equips on the other WTS threads.
They will choose an easier way - just visit well-known auctions instead.

She will tell you that , for very high difficulty it's not great... but for Hell/BT, it works out pretty well. If I don't cast Imperil or Weaken, it more than makes up for my IA2... and even often makes up for recasting SS.

If I've got to recast Regen, HS or Protection without a Channelling, then I'll drop some mana. Even then, I can sometimes recover without a potion if I get a well-timed Mana Stone or RiddleMaster.

Honestly, letting one of the more established auctioneers handle it will get you a much better price because more people will pay attention to it.

Traffic... as in, just like a big-name web-page gets a lot of "hits" (traffic), while a no-name site barely gets any.

A new thread in the WTS section will usually get a few random people... some who hunt for bargains, etc.

Once you've been around awhile and your thread shows a bunch of views and/or replies, you're more likely to get people visiting. Then, once you've "made a name for yourself", people will click on your shop/auction automatically.

You are a newb, you have no reputation, good or bad. Your auction won't have the exposure like Dreamophobia or Komica Island has. They hold an auction each and every week like a clockwork and showcase some of the most impressive gear HV has to offer. My guess would be that you will have less visitor to your entire auction thread (start to finish) than the above two auctioneer's see within 5 minutes of putting up the latest auction thread. And the clientele that frequent their auctions have very, very deep pocket - deeper than my entire fortune combined.
